  1. Hey guys, I recently got a hyper 64 with Fatal Fury Wild Ambition! I also built a supergun to use it and I wanted to show some pictures! I must say that FF Wild Ambition is highly underrated and fun! On a less happy note, I think my atomiswave is broken and that stinks.

  2. Hey guys it’s me Evan. It’s been a while and I wanted to update you guys SNK wise. First, I recently got an atomiswave with some SNK games. I was very impressed! Secondly, my AES collection is on hold as prices have gotten absolutely absurd. Lastly, I am searching for a hyper Neo Geo 64 fighting board, so if anyone has one and is willing to sell, tell me!

  3. It's been a while since I have been here. Recently I fixed my broken 3-5 so now I have 2 AESes. I also repaired an old samurai showdown 1 that I used for a panic bomber conversion. Now I have a blank Sam sho 2 cart and I have interest in making a Ghostlop cart. Does anyone know what chips to use or how to split roms and such?

  4. Hey Chaos,

Awesome to know that you ordered from them. I wouldn't mind being their versions of the reprints on Mark of the Wolves. But Personally, $199 is too good to be true at that price. I'm think it will be higher. :)

    Anthony....

I mean imagine getting an official metal slug for AES for only $199 it would be a dream.

  5. Hello fellow Neo Geo fans. I'm new to the boards but have heard a lot about this place. I recently had a my You Tube video on the importance of taking care of Neo Geo carts posted here (feel free to browse my channel which has a lot of classic gaming content https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLF1LeCKz6aidLRubdbb4qidzODysJtK6E) Does any body have any recomendations on getting a Neo Geo cart ridge working again? I recently aquired Art of Fighting 1 but it does not register in my AES. The contacts are all dim and brown and look nothing like the green contacts in my other Neo Geo carts. I have used q tips, an earser, rubbing alcohol, and a 1up card to clean this thing and nothing works. I don't know and have no real desire to open my cart. Any sugestions or is this thing just an orniment now?

The board for the older games are not green but a light brown. That's why the appear so different compared to the newer games.

  6. I was playing some art of fighting and wanted to start a little contest. Post your high score with a picture of it and we can see who has the highest score at the end of the month. The settings are mvs difficulty one credit. I will start with my score.

  7. Yeah, I noticed that, and meant to ask why it would be showing the 12.7v. I'm still learning this, so any advice, help, etc., would be greatly appreciated. So I switch it myself? Did I have the power supply plugged in improperly?

Well, you should not use it with that power supply, you will fry the board...

  8. Do you have more pictures of the board? Specifically what revision is it and a shot of the area by the power switch. Is there a daughter board?

If you have a cart inserted, I assume still no clicking sound?

This picture is not mine but it is the type of board I have. Also when I put a cart in there is still no clicking sound. I have also noticed that the garbled graphics screen changes for each game, like Neo Drift Out is the screen I already posted and KOF 2001 is a blue and red screen.
