Supercart (Frontrunner Computer Industries) Lizard (please chime in if you know more about this terminal program) Games Santa BBS (Dreams Come True) Video Math Flashcards (V2.0) by APX Trucker / Streets of the City (Creative Computing Software) Road Blocks (unknown machine language title by David Mapes, could be a prototype) The Accident (joke by Jerry White) EATT - European Adventure Time Tunnel (fully playable, unreleased game coded by Jerry White and eventually canned by First Star Software) Cheez-Wiz (previously unknown prototype by Roklan!) He also left an e-mail address but I'm not sure it's valid. Still, if any of the regular archivists wants to give it a shot, you can send me a PM.

Looking for some German games...

Speaking of Nadral, the original boot disk program with additional loading screen is missing. Not sure it ever leaked. -

The Atari interview discussion thread
www.atarimania.com replied to Savetz's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
Romox had quite a number of titles that were announced but never released due to the crash. @Savetz Did you ever get back to Tim McGuinness to know whether he had any lost code to these games? Maybe you have plans for interviews with other former Romox programmers? I sent an e-mail to Tim 10-15 years ago and he seemed very protective about the subject. Also wondering whether anybody saved the Romox .pdf files which were available on Tim McGuinness' old site. Unfortunately, they don't seem to be accessible through the Wayback Machine. -

It's free to dream so... Two more games still "missing in action", this time published by Manfred Hahn as you can see in this ad: Crazy Snake Trouble with the Bubble Crazy Snake is nowhere to be found. A clean, uncracked version of Trouble with the Bubble is what we are looking for, NOT the butchered disk by Jörg Forg which somehow found its way in a number of PD collections. -
You and Paul are right, I stand corrected.

That's not a hack, it was made with the built-in editor.

Dumping Unreleased Wing War Cart from Steve DeFrisco
www.atarimania.com replied to rkindig's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
Was this cartridge ever dumped? Although it's probably the same as the disk release on the Imagic 1-2-3 compilation, it would be nice to have a confirmation. -
It's not a problem, it just makes the game a bit bland and less attractive. I'll never understand why so many modern games on the Atari don't go for the extra touch that will make them stand out. I know people usually say the standard font is distinctive and everything, I think it looks outdated and makes you believe the Atari is inferior to other systems. Just look how creative coders are on other platforms for even simple games. Even though playability is essential, the artistic part changes the perception quite a lot. Just my two cents...

Instructions manual: Ted Bear's Rainy Day Games
www.atarimania.com replied to Simon's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
There's a whole lot of difference between the two games. Rainy Day Games is just uncommon while Algebra Arcade is ultra, ultra rare. -
Looks great but I hope you change the font.
-
I think this works with most (all?) "Glenn the 5200 Man" conversions.
-
Press CONTROL+G once the game is loaded, you'll see it's just Glenn's file copied to tape.

Do you mean programs where you had to write to get the listings but still present on the magazine disks? -
Instructions manual: Ted Bear's Rainy Day Games
www.atarimania.com replied to Simon's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
Yeah... I removed that one a while ago because I don't think it ever got released for the Atari in the end, though I'd love to be proven wrong. I know the manual says "Atari 800" and it appears in various dealer lists but it's odd that not a single copy has surfaced in 37 years. While this is the case with hundreds and hundreds of educational titles, this program appears to have been distributed on a wider scale than the exclusive school market so I'm puzzled... Maybe I can add it back as a proto or something... -

Allan scanned the instructions and they're on archive.org, I just didn't have the time to add them to Atarimania yet: https://archive.org/details/rainy-day-games-baudville -
