Hey kevtris I lost a save on the gbc core after switching to the 7800 core for a while and then going back. Do you always lose saves when you switch cores? Just want to be sure before I put more time into games. Thanks.

Played shantae on the gbc core for an hour or so earlier and saved in game and to the ram. Double checked to make sure the save was there and it was. Switch over to 7800 and played for a while and just went back to Shantae and the save is gone....do you lose saves on systems if you switch to a different core?

Heres a problem ive noticed in a few cores, just saw it again in the 7800. When you have scanlines on and a character is in front of a solid color and moves, the scanlines disappear from where he was and dont draw back in until the character starts moving again. Midnight mutants on 7800 is a good example. Start the game and go left until you see a path downward. Go down and youll be on a bridge over a river. If you move your character along the bridge you'll see the scanlines basically being erased by him wherever he moves.

I had to get a different sd card and load it up with only the latest official firmware just to get it to boot. Then I loaded an sd with only the kevtris firmware and that updated it again. After that I put in the card with all the stuff and it works great. Colecovision star wars seems to freeze randomly at the level select screen though. Cant reliably recreate it though. A lot of colecovision stuff is giving me the "make sure console is turned off when inserting a cartridge" error. Kind of a bummer.

My kingdom for a colecovision controller adapter. Playing Smurf is an exercise in futility right now.

Mine finally came in. How do you open the video menu while playing? I'd like to compare different palletes.

So, to hear the expansion audio on carts, do I need to know exactly which chip to enable in the menus per game or can I just go in and turn them all on and never have to worry about getting non expansion audio?

When I order one the second they come back in stock, can I go straight to the jailbreak firmware when it comes in or will I have to load it with the newest regular firmware first?

I know Bob mentioned this to you when you were on his podcast, and maybe you'd rather not go into it, but have you looked at the blissbox or spoken to the guy who made it? Granted, it's obscenely expensive but I don't know if that cost is coming from the unit itself or the fact that currently he only sells it in a package with (literally) 18 different console connectors.

Does the colecovision core automatically assign inputs to the 8bitdo? Specifically, I'm wondering if in the smurf game for colecovision you would be able to set the jump command to an actual button instead of up on the dpad. On the real colecovision controller jump was mapped to pushing the control stick up while also holding it to the right to walk and it was always a pain. Being able to map that to a button would be great.

Are Wonderswan or Wonderswan Color cores possible/being considered?

Will there be a GBA core? That would be so much easier than trying to figure out how to use GBI on the gamecube and getting that hdmi modded etc etc
