  1. Now that you mentioned this game, I remember it. It's almost the same, really. So let's not lose time with games that are already made. But of course a perfect port of Donkey Kong would be sweet.
  2. Hey, opcode, I'm coming totally out of the blue just to ask you this one question: Is there any possibility of you making a Anteater port someday? I play that game always in MAME and it is great fun!! Sadly the only port know to a console was that lost 2600 one Congratulations on your great work with your homebrews!!! Keep the good work![/b]
  3. I didn't saw it until it was too late, too. But, oh well. Any game in that list will be a good choice.
  4. Muito bom! Recursos como esse em português são muito raros. Valeu pela dica.
  5. $450.00 is a a huge amount for a cartridge but at least it's a R9 game that deserves the price. Nowadays with not-so-rare games reaching prices of $50-$100-$200 you keep asking yourself what are happening with some buyers. I don't know if they think they will resell the games for profit or if they are just crazy.
  6. What's strange is Ebay cancelling a Custer's Revenge auction. People sell sealed copies of this game without problems. They should send emails explainig why they are doing this and not these auto mails that says nothing. It's a total lack of respect.
  7. I try to see if the seller has feedback saying "well packaged" and I never bid on newbie's auctions, unless it's an item I really want. The only problem I had is that some time ago I bought the Saturn's Panzer Dragoon Saga game and when I received it, the case was cracked. It was a pretty costly game so the seller should have boxed it. But the game was working nicely and saturn cases are easy to replace so I didn't bother to complain. It's hard to get good packaging nowadays.
  8. Let's remember that for buyers the feedback thing isn't as important as for sellers. So if they are not power buyers or if they are not wanting to sell things at ebay the feedback system is unimportant for them.
  9. Ahem... When I see "oh yeah baby" as a title for this thread I think "hmm... this should be hot and spicy..." I feel stupid now...
  10. I only care if my game will arrive at my home safely. If the shipping is too costly... I will pay it anyway. If what I want to have doesn't exist in my own country I'll have to buy it from some other country that have it. I didn't understand why some dumbasses keep whining about shipping costs. The most I paid for shipping was US$ 21.00 for a package in Japan. It's a lot of money but It's what the guys at Japan Post Service want to send packages to the other side of the planet. I don't like to spend money in shipping but there's no way to solve this problem.
  11. Yars revenge is my favorite 2600 game. Great interview with the programmer! I hope Inky's quest for the mythical dump will succeed. But beware! They say that if you break the old seal of the dump a great evil will fall over earth...
  12. Exactly. If you put a high bid on a auction early some shill bidder or dumbass could make the price go sky high only to make you pay more.
  13. As a buyer I have to say that if a seller doesn't leave me positive feedback right after my payment I start to smell something fishy about him. I leave pos feedback right after receiving the item so if I did my part paying them I expect them do to do their part leaving me a pos feedback. If they don't do it I simply don't buy from them anymore. I don't like when sellers keep my feedback as a hostage. Of course there are exceptions to this rule but most sellers do it for bad reasons.
  14. I hope the bidiots! site will turn out to be a great marketplace for game collectors. The chances to make a deal with a scammer on ebay are increasing daily.
  15. Thanks MegaManFan! I never had problems with items from Japan. Two items came by EMS and one by Airmail. But I think that a seller have the obligation to sent a shipping confirmation to the buyer. Specially when they both are separated by a ocean... I get a little pissed when they didn't do it.
  16. Boy, these horror stories about postal services makes me shiver. I was scammed once on ebay when I bought three saturn games from a guy in Taiwan. I paid extra for EMS (Express Mail Service) and never received it. I lost US$ 76.00. The idiots at their postal service lost or robbed my package. Tthe seller was no help about refunding my money (maybe he got the insurance money for himself), He just started a new ebay ID and I became tired from trying to get my money back. And so life goes on... It was my 1st time on Ebay. Not a very good way to start. But I learned two important things: Thou shall never buy anything from Taiwan and thou shall never buy many items from the same seller at once. I hope your package will eventually arrive at your home. Oh, by the way its my first post so... Hi!
