  1. I'm a little late here, but I've used a hot wire foam cutter in the past. Take appropriate breathing precautions If you cut right at the seam, allow for about 5mm depth per side and the lid should come off fairly easily. The power supply uses regulator chips of type CA723CE
  2. They do work, I've tested them on a real 5200 console They don't have the little locks like the the originals do, but the outside of the male connector on the extension is just flexible enough that the raised tabs on the joystick cable will snug themselves into place and hold the connectors together securely. On the console end, the extension cable connector is deep enough to fully engage the console pins and fit snugly. I tried for forever to locate a source of the original style extensions w/ locking tabs. I could find one here and there but there wasn't a decent reliable supply. I was pretty happy when I received these in and found that, while intended for Neo Geo consoles, they worked with the 5200 as well.
  3. If there is a preorder list please count me in!
  4. Please add my cousins friends sisters hairdresser to the list.
  5. Looks great - Email sent!
  6. Not quite sold out! (Games will ship as soon as they arrive) http://console5.com/store/arne-jager-des-jags-2015-release-atari-jaguar-cd.html
  7. Games received, all orders packaged, everything ships tomorrow!
  8. Transit time MI to MA shouldn't be too bad First Class. Usually it's about 3-5 days, and every once in a while just to keep me on my toes maybe 7-10 days. Unless it's going to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or APO/FPO, in which case days = rand() % 50
  9. Whoa, my emails are blowin' up! Nobody wants to miss a new Jag cart release. I know those feels. I've created a pre-order product here: http://console5.com/store/alices-moms-rescue-cartridge.html Assuming no troubles in receiving the carts, orders should ship within 1 to 2 weeks. Big thanks to Orion for programming the game, and Gaztee for coordinating this release!
  10. Haha, awesome, you made it out of there alive. You disappeared up a set of stairs by the weight room and never returned. It was great... a slow, deliberate swagger. Each hand in the air with a single outstretched pointer finger in the "We're #1" pose. The fact that it was the last time any of us saw you for the rest of the trip made me laugh every time I thought about it
  11. This guy gets it! Atomic Fireball quantum spin characteristics are on file and linked with CD serial number and documentation micro-embossing. Remember to save all packaging and an air-quality sample for future correlation. Authentication services will be available for a modest price
  12. Thanks for all the orders! Everything was shipped yesterday & today. Only 4 copies remaining. The lesson learned is that its very very very difficult to judge demand for Jag CD titles
  13. If you had sent me a message that you were putting them on eBay, I guarantee you would have gotten more for them
  14. Now available for immediate purchase. Thanks to all who've waited!
  15. Wow, April already! I'll be there, not as a vendor but just blending in with the crowd.
  16. I'll should hopefully have them available by next week! Thanks Orion for your continued support
  17. Unfortunately the original belts are a guaranteed to fail item. The buzz may be due to a bit belt remnant stuck to the motor pulley. There is a lockout solenoid that prevents insertion of cartridges when in FDS mode but I doubt that's the source of the buzz.
  18. If it wasn't advertised as having a new belt then that's the likely culprit.
  19. FWIW, these are the only kinds of caps I include in my kits High-temp ratings and well established brands. I do sell Vectrex cap kits BUT I don't think the OP needs a cap kit. A center dot & no game sound would point to a digital problem and if the voltages are in spec then the problem is probably in one of the IC20X chips. I would begin by verifying the clock & /RST and then move on to the logic probe and see what the bus is doing.
