Okay, I get most 2600 games could work with the 6502. Does it mean those games won't get some kind of benefit unless the games were programmed/hacked to take advantage of the 6502?

Atari 2600 actual titles if they were based on the box art
Bakasama replied to ianoid's topic in Atari 2600
Since there's a 2600 cart label maker, one could try to find the original artwork and make carts based on the parody art a reality. -
Yes, you did beat the game. If that game was easy you must've played the easiest level. The more difficult ones, you have to use the key to open locked doors, in the dark.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LatorN4P9aA Although I do consider the "Chain Reaction" video to be more cheesy than "Separate Ways". That one looks like a love song to a dummy.

What made this game a little hard was that the character can only one item at a time.

The funny thing about Glee is that Journey seems to like the show.
-
"Break those chains that bind you" I'm curious, did anyone play Journey music when they played the game.
-
The question of what version to use. I suppose you can do both. One way is to use the difficulty switches. Another way is to have it a selectable on screen option.

I move I used to beat the game was just the elbow.

Wow, I've been looking for something like for a while. oh, I forgot to mention cheats are also important. In God mode, you don have to worry about dying when you get to an annoying boss to take screen shots.

Sprite ripping has became something of an artform since MUGEN was introduced. That led in turn to demands for sprite sheets for homemade fighting games. The great thing nowadays is that all you need to sprite rip graphics games, is the ROM, an emulator that has screen shot feature, and a basic paint program.
-
Ah, I do know how tedious and boring sprite ripping can be. Still, it's much easier to sprite rip this game than say, Mortal Kombat.

I've known this for over 20 years. It's the best way to the pookas and fygars in any version of Dig Dug. This being a super secret technique to you is just odd. I bet that will change the way you play Dig Dug forever.

The tight fit is due to the cartridge guides for some of the 7800's being a little too tight. I think there's a way to fix that.
-
The original SF on the 7800? Just play Karateka, it's just as fun.

There's a certain charm in kicking a fat man in groin and his eyes bugging out.

I have to say, I really like the designs for the robots. They remind of the robots in the box and maunal art for the original 2600 version.

You buy an H2 cart?

Pokey enhanced 2600 games? I find that very interesting. Sounds like even more reasons to get an XM.

I actually did a little work on some mockup shots of that game. I think the castles can be made pretty close to the arcade versions. I believe the characters can be made like the arcade version.

What lifted foot? She's suppose to be standing on her two feet and I based that stance on the still frame of Janet.
-
I do admit you might be using it but at least it's there if you do find a use for it. Such as having Magenta standing guard or if you need the player to sneak past her.
-
So is there a particular genre you would like to make a game from?
-
I was looking at the Magenta sheet and I felt it need something. So I crafted a still frame for her. BTW, I did notice she has larger bust size than Janet. I might some do some editing armed with this insight.

krewat, I was wondering how different this build of Impossible Mission is going to be from the bugged version. For example, will the sounds be different?
