Keep track of this thread for news about another up an coming release:Yeah, PacManPlus also mentioned that he wants to work on Space Invaders when gets done that homebrew.

If one really wants a fighting game for the 7800, hack or remake Karateka to have better controls and graphics. At least, we'll might be able to kill that damn bird.

It's the usual kind of story, you are Maus, you have to save your kidnapped girlfriend from an evil exterminator. The story is pretty sketchy still, I guess I should fill it in a little huh? There are all kinds of settings, indoors and out, above and underground, in trees, etc. The enemies can/will be pretty much anything that would kill a mouse. Ideas for settings are welcome too.Yeah that gives me a better idea what you're shooting for. I envision a journey through mouse holes, interiors of house, sewer pipes, etc. I see items like cheese, mouse traps, and rat poison. I would think you would have deal with poison alot but some anidote would help. I guess you can fight rats, cats, and the like.

Well, considering Space Duel was originally the sequel to Asteroids but that got put on hold in favor of Asteroids Deluxe. That does sound like logical follow-up to this project but I know you have a few more projects that you are still working on.
-
I suppose you have to give some details about the story. That would give us a general idea where you're going with this game.
-
I don't think there is a Pinball emulator for the Mac. Nor I have heard of anyone work on one..
-
Could this mean we could eventually get Space Duel?
-
I don't about Street Fighter II, I do really think that Yier Kung Fu is quite doable on the 7800 however.

Given the weird crap around the MAME community, I not sure is this something to be happy about. MAME for me has lost alot the fun it used to have.

The idea of a cute little girl blasting tanks does sound a little odd but after seeing a bunch of Japanese style video games, I really do think there's a potentially fun game in there somewhere.
-
Was? Great, I thought it would be like a lost prototype like Marble Madness II.
-
This project looks interesting. Based on the flash animation, the game seems to be about a cute little girl blowing tanks up. Am I guessing correct?
About getting help, I suppose if you put enough time into it and this game shows promise, I think you'll get more help.
-
Wait, if there's video of this game, does that mean there or was a working prototype of The Last Starfighter?

Just wait til they are trashing my gameroom and they discover that Beef Drop is actually *gasp!* Burgertime.Yeah, I find it funny that the company, Data East, that owns the copyright to Burgertime doesn't even exist anymore. It died out sometime in the late 90's.

the one that says Korea, do you know if it came from North Korea or South Korea??I would venture to think it's South Korea, the North is very backward compared to the south and the north at the time only traded with China.

I really like Joel Peguero (Entry #1) and Robert Gomez's. Nice work!Same here. I also like Joel's #3 entry, though it seems to need something else.
I think it needs the main character as part of the artwork.

Actually you CAN use his screenshot but only to get the exact dimensions of a typical 7800 screen size. A canvas you can use if you will.

Dragnerok X, I was wondering if you're going to put some tank pong variants in this cart.
I thinking putting some invisible mines or something to that effect would make some of these mazes "interesting". heh heh

I did hear about onther tool, but cabn't recall how far along it is or what the name of it is.
I think you're talking about the "crococart"

The Killer Instincts. Area 51, Gauntlet Dark Legacy, Gauntlet Legends, and Simpson's Bowling, I don't download simply because with Dial-Up, downloading those huge CHD's needed to run them, would take days

Well, there's other ways to get those huge files, such as having a friend with cable or DSL downloading and burn those file onto CD or DVD.

Yeah I do remember Tempest, Asteroids, and other Atari vector games not working due to a missing ROM. What kills me is that it's easier for me to find a copy of KOF 2003 or Metal Slug 5 than to find the updated Atari ROMs.

Request: Pac-Man Championship Edition!

I think it's more likely for a Zola/Championship Edition version of Ms. Pac-man for the 7800. Yes, there's ROMs for that game out there.
