  1. If you're worried about certain company, may I suggest using games that were on the NES but weren't not trademarked by that company. Like Gradius/Nemesis, Castlevania, or Mega Man. I'm impressed about your insights with 7800 graphics. I designed the character graphics for b*nq. While people did like the designs, I always felt more could've been done with it. Now I see evidence that more could have been done.
  2. I suppose they do have the privilege to name their price after the Hard Work they put into the games but $99 seems to be a steep price for a lot of people.
  3. The movie or the series?
  4. I do recall there are plug-ins for GIMP might make that easier. I know for sure using indexed colors instead of RGB might color editing a lot easier.
  5. I looked up heic format, it looks like the poster took those pics with an iPhone and didn't them to .jpg
  6. The game coming out might be a bit more difficult since FedEx bought out Kinko's years ago.
  7. You think that's bad, Japanese doesn't really have proper pronouns or cuss words. A lot of times you have to guess what they're really saying based on context.
  8. I've just watched another player try that in easiest setting. The wad is still really hard but he did finish it in one run.
  9. I see there's going to be a bunch of MUGEN games bases on this.
  10. For the Celeron MacBook, I think you can use a WINE wrapper. You just put the program exe in the wrapper and run it like it was a program without bootcamp. I'm not too sure about those M1 Macs, I never had a chance to play around with those.

    HOKEY demo

Any updates on the Minnie sound chip for the Hokey.
  12. I have ran Bupsystem on MacOS through Wineskin and it works fine. Folder management is a bit wonky but like I said, it works.
  13. I tried Knights of the Old Republic and it crashes on my PC when I try to make a new character. It's not a total loss, I could try it on my cousin's PC or my brother's Mac via steam. Perhaps a non Steam version might work. Thanks anyway for the keys.
  14. Thanks for Battle Chasers key. I had that on the wishlist for a while and it's kind of hard to get a Steam gift card with the lockdowns.
  15. That potential mp3 player add-on gives me some ideas like having a Double Dragon game with soundtracks from Streets of Fire or The Warriors running the background while playing. Or maybe having a Pengo game that plays the many, many, covers of "Popcorn".
  16. I was wondering why you would want to this.
  17. I suppose it is fun work on the hardware but like I said, somebody needs a make some hacks. I already mentioned Double Dragon. Another one I can think of is Karateka. The controls on that one are pretty awful. Another one I guess could be Xenophobe.
  18. The only game I can think of that could use three buttons is Double Dragon but some has to hack that game to make work with three buttons.
  19. I did put Bupsystem emulator exe into a Mac wineskin and the emulator does work. I didn't try out the game with it, yet.
  20. They are lacking in the quantity of PC games. I can't blame them too much, their video game culture is almost revolves around consoles and arcades.
  21. Sure but I don't think a lot of players and homebrewers would want pay that much for that. $50, maybe, but that's out of reach for most buyers.
  22. I just beat the game using the unlimited lives cheat and then beat normally.
  23. Uh, how much did you pay for this "fixer upper"?
