    Hi guys,

Back with Colin from Gorilla Entertainment to share his video to celebrate the 7th anniversary of the Neo-Geo thread fellas. Enjoy. :)

    From the description,

"Alpha Mission II is a vertically scrolling full-screen shoot 'em up released by SNK in 1991 for the Neo Geo arcade and home systems. As the name suggests, it is the sequel to the 1985 arcade game Alpha Mission. It was later released for the Neo Geo CD in 1994 and for the PlayStation Portable in 2010."

    Hi guys,

This evening, we are with AtariAge member, awbacon. Welp, today is the day on the unveiling of his Samurai Shodown 64 prototype. Let's dive right in to have a listen. The suspense is driving me bonkers. :)

    From the description,

    "

Now what do we have here? A rusty hulk of a door stop? A pretty paperweight? An extremely rare prototype? Or a retail rom on a strange cartridge? Well...you have to watch ;) Or I guess you can skip to the end but everything building up to what it actually is will be of interest! Because you can't just slap a game like this on a motherboard and flip the power switch without being careful first. But what is the Samurai Shodown 64 Hyper Neo Geo Cartridge in the photo? Well...it's an awesome fighting game from SNK that's for sure! Check back next week for part 2 :)"

    Anthony...

Thats an awsome find waiting for part 2 now.

    Hi guys,

Back with Scarlet Sprites with an interesting video to watch. Here we see him discussing his picks of the 5 worst titles for the Neo-Geo. I wonder what they are. Enjoy. ;-)

    From the description,

"You know the Neo Geo is the Cadillac of 90s video game consoles. You know the Neo Geo actively rocked arcades for fourteen years. You know it plays host to some of the most iconic fighting game franchises of all time. Did you also know that it has games that totally suck? I mean REALLY bad $#!% that no one should ever be bored enough to waste their time on kind of stuff. Games that make LJN titles look like AAA releases kind of stuff. Here's a list of my Top 5 worst games for SNK's Neo Geo."

    Anthony..

    Happy Birthday NEO GEO thread!

    Just a quick contribution;

An old video I did that I may not have linked here:

    FANTASY (1981 SNK/Rock-Ola)

Weird old game by SNK nearly a decade before the NEO GEO, this was licensed to the jukebox giant ROCK-OLA.

Here's to another great 6 years of NEO GEO or SNK memories!

I remember seeing this at Malibu Gran Prix, Wunderland and an ice cream restaurant called FARRELL'S.  Multi-level game with some annoying voice samples (Help  Meeee!!!  Heeeeelp!!!-- you'd think it was Ashley from Resident Evil 4!) but playable nonetheless.  Created in 1981 in Japan and released in the US in 1982.

Congrats again on a great 6 years, Anthony!

I was playing this on something a few months ago it might have been the Sega Sg1000 not sore it was intresting but didnt have all the levels cool vid.

Anyone else playing the new Samurai Shodown on ps4? I'm really enjoying it! I wasnt sure if i was going to after seeing it originally. I knew it looked cool but heard it played a lot different and people had mixed feelings about it. After playing through the story mode and playing a bit online I've decided that's it's a good game!
