I don't think "Aliens vs Predator" can be done on the 7800.

This project seems to have died? Are we still working on it? I sent my re-formatted manuals but still says "NO" on the list. anyone?
-
but the 4 contacts joysticks of the 2600 are said to be 8-way. that is to say, with a normal joystick, there are only 8 diff combinations.

I was at the post office Thursday night and said this has to get to Tucson by Friday and she said the $13 guaranteed to get there but express mail is 2-3 days and is ~ $3.50. So, I told her express mail and she like “are you sure, you don’t want the guaranteed…”. 2-3 days leaving on Thursday and she was implying that it would not get there. Was she trying to up the price? At the post office? Chad, there is a 5% chance that you will not get the check by Friday.

This is it people!!! The DEADLINE!!!! I have to get my check to Chad for my CC2 by the 13th. Am I the only one LATE?

Can this just be written in Java and then it can be run on a MAC?

I actually like the game my self. I think I own about three of them. But I know people do find E.T. annoying when you fall into a hole and as soon as they come out… they just fall right back in. And those annoying people that take your phone piece right after you get it all together.
-
I would like to have people send be copies of E.T. so I can: 1. take them to New Mexico 2. rent a steam roller and roll over them 3. pour cement over them 4. bury them with dirt Then I will go on ebay and tell people I found where the landfill is from the Atari vaults and sell the maps. Does this sound good to anyone else? How much do you think I can get for these?
-
On the reformat page: MANUALS THAT ATARIAGE NEEDS TRANSCRIBED. I looked here at AA and I didn't find the first two. Is there a scan of these manuals available? I guess CC2 does not do the sound for the 2 KidVid games. This would have been nice but it is only two games. Of cource you can make a face KidVid with http://www.chez.com/slydc/kvcable.htm And just down load the sound on to a tape.

How much did the CC1 go for at the start? CC shounds like it holds it's value Golly-gee, EVERYONE should get one!

if the 7800 expansion port http://cat.asw.cz/~kubecj/7800exp.htm has: 1 gnd 3 CVIDEO composite video signal 17 AUDIO TIA audio output Would this work for video/audo inputs into the TV? in 7800 mode at least?

did anyone try this in Activision Anthology?
-
The only thing I removed was the “Typed in by…” stuff but in the future I will leave that in too or I can put this stuff back. I was just thinking after fixing my 4th (about the same) warranty information, that why would I want to see this when I will probably just want to know how to play the game and that is it.
-
I typed in a D manual; AA had a scan but no text (it was about one paragraph though). I was wondering if we have a complete list of the character set: Like A-Z, a-z, 0-9, :;’”,./<>#$%^&*()-=_+[]{}| So we can check the manuals for characters that cannot be displayed. This is probably in the CC2 it’s self but does the characters appear the same in Windows ASCII as they do on a CC2, for example, does the value for ‘@’ character the same on the CC2? I have been removing the “Typed in by…” stuff but I could see some people arguing about removing “turn off your Atari, put your <game> in, turn your Atari on …” or “Atari/Activision limited warranty: Atari reserves the write to sue…” stuff if we are trying to reduce the size. Not to mention the Super-charger trouble shooting stuff...

I volunteer to do the "D" section.

I guess that I'm very bad player, as I think they are all hard. Except for in Activision Anthology, I just think Barnstorming is Imposable.
-
I think your right Bankzilla but he did put it on ebay and I think slashdot even mentioned it. I don't remember how much it went for.
-
I was thinking the same thing! So do we have an ETA or ETP (Estimated time to preorder) yet? I DO NOT WANT TO MISS IT! Does anyone know how much Cartzella went for? Or does anyone remember that thing?
-
I think a good atari 2600 is a good investment, if you find a quadrun for $1 that is
-
Make sure you have the ez mode on. I think pressing L2 changes it!
-
is it just me or is unlocking the Barnstorming Ad IMPOSIBLE

I was wondering about modifying my 2600 Jr http://www.atariage.com/howto/composite.html to have A/V RCA jacks, but I have some questions: If I am reasonably good at soldering, what is the % chance of completely killing the 2600 jr? If I am successful, what is the % change that it will kill the video device I hook it up to? (I kinda want to hook up to car tv and CAN NOT let it destroy it. Does the tv signal work after putting the wires in? Can I remove the wires and it will work like it use to? On other 2600’s the mod has a a-lot of components but the jr just connect about 4 wires and it works, does this work very well/clearly? Is it worth it? Is it 2600 jr mod better then the 2600 mods? The resister that they talk about in the mode is in a different place on my board, is this right? thanks for the help

I (half way) wrote a Cart Commander knock-off in Java. I downloaded the North American lists from Atari Age and kept every label variant in it for the master lists. I call it Java-Cart and it currently lets me add carts from the master list and edit (like a spread sheet) and sort and bar-graph by cart or company and counts the number of carts total/ and number of different names of carts. I can setup any fields I want to keep track of; I just have to create a new properties file (like an INI file) for all the fields in the new table. But my progress stopped at getting it to delete. I had this Idea to match every cart with the CRC number of the rom to know exactly how many unique games I have but I only got as far as, creating a table of 2600 carts from Atari Age that has all carts and available CRC’s (for the rom that AA had roms for and some that I had). I was thinking of releasing this as open source but of course, I have NO TIME to work on this anymore because of job and one-hour commute each way (kids, thrift runs, playing Atari/Activision Anthology ps2, eating, bills, cleaning, getting yelled at by wife for “Having too much junk (carts/equipment)”. I was thinking of saving the carts in a MySQL database or XML but right now it is in a CSV files.

Ok a bunch of them have this. examples include: Pong Sports Speedway II Tank Plus Math Blackjack Maybe your working on adding labels variants?

Why does "Outer Space" have 2 entries? All the links are the same except that one has no box scan. (to see this: goto 2600 page type "Outer Space" and hit search.)
