  1. i have a sega CDX console for sale, cartridges work just fine with it, CD games load & work but have a brief pause glitch here and there sometimes, i'm guessing that the laser may need adjusting or replacing. cosmetically i would say it is in excellent shape, really looks near mint. $325 for the console alone plus shipping in u.s., refer to pics here for condition:
  2. yeah it sounds likely that that is the meaning of the "21 84" & "22 84" and it does seem to line up with the initial 1984 test market release of the 7800. i still wonder what the "SA 0001" & "SA 0002" numbers are referring to, 1st & 2nd revision of the power supply possibly...
  3. ouch, well at least you were able to reverse the previous owners bad soldering decision. i likely won't ever be opening this one as it is in such a nice original state and works 100% so i don't want to open and thereby alter it's original condition. I've been looking around for pics of the EP 1984 7800 power supplies and mine is still the only one i have seen with the "SA 0001", as for this and the "21 84" stamp maybe @Mitch can shed some light for us on if/how these numbers equate to production dates?
  4. thanks, yeah i was very surprised to find an EP in the wild like that. yeah the power supply has "21 84" on the label & stamped on the back it has the "21 84" as well as "SA 0001". it is the first EP power supply with "SA 0001" i have seen, all of the other 1984 power supplies i have saw had "SA 0002" code stamped on the back of the power supply, did your EP happen to still have the original power supply with it if so and what was the code on it?
  5. well i can finally be added to the list, and looks like i'm in the top 10 earliest serial numbers too! i just picked up an original 1984 EP serial number 003971 i've had multiple 7800s over the years but an EP always remained elusive to me, i happened to stop in a local video game store earlier today because i had to ask the owner a question about the business that was closed next door and i instantly saw a 7800 behind the glass with a center yellow rainbow gradient and knew it was either an AT or EP so i asked if i could see it and he took it from behind the glass and handed it to me and i flipped it over and saw the EP serial number and i was stunned that it was also a low one, he gave me a solid deal on it as well. it also included both of the original "mexico" 84 controllers as well as the original 84 power supply and original 1984 copyright Pole Position.
  6. that's great to hear, i was just about to pose the question of if another run was still planned for crystal quest, i missed the first batches
  7. just trying this out on real hardware for the first time and it looks beautifully implemented graphically, more faithful to the arcade visually than the Genesis and rivaling the snes. @solo/ng @laoo have you guys been able to get any special moves/fatalites added yet? any progress updates you could give possibly? i really hope this still becomes a reality someday as a finished Lynx port!
  8. just a heads up, if you do end up trying a package forwarding service do NOT use forward2me, they took an extremely rare mint sealed vintage game i bought and repackaged it in a flimsy paper mailer with no padding/packaging materials and FedEx destroyed the package in shipping by crushing it, it was FedEx's fault for mishandling the package however if forward2me had packaged it properly it would have protected it from damage. To top it off forward2me avoided responsibility and told me they would file a damaged package claim with FedEx to blame it all on FedEx and asked me for pictures and submitted the claim and then stopped communicating or even responding to me. i have attempted contacting management with them and have gotten no response either, it has been months now and i believe either FedEx refused the claim because it was packaged so poorly or they possibly received the claim amount and kept the money.
  9. thanks for the heads up, coincidentally i just picked up a loose battlezone though locally, so i can scratch that one off unless someone has a box or CIB version
  10. looking to buy some Atari XE (XEGS) blue box games: airball, dark chambers, summer games (xegs), donkey kong (xegs), battlezone, choplifter, crystal castles, mario bros. prefer CIB or new but will consider loose as well on these thanks
  11. looking to buy an atari XE (XEGS) console preferably with keyboard, also looking for an original grey XE controller
  12. complete in box, box is a little worn but game and manual look nice. tested. $70, u.s. only please.
  13. has anyone had an issue with the ribbon cable connector for the screen not holding the ribbon cable in when it is locked? i removed the screen ribbon cable on a recently acquired lynx II for the first time to do some repairs and noticed that the ribbon cable had a few stripped contacts and when i went to reconnect it later & lock it into the ribbon connector it would not stay in the connector, even after it is successfully locked the cable can freely move in & out of the connector.
  14. just received my copy, i guess i am the first in the u.s. to receive their copy, thanks to @odie_one for the quick shipment and for making this available again!
  15. made my day when i got the notification email on Thursday, i've been waiting quite a while for this and i'm glad to see another run of this happening.
  16. looking to buy an atari jaguar console, preferably working with cables/controller/games however will consider any. just message me with condition and what you are asking. thanks
  17. that's really cool, too bad you couldn't capture the video. yeah when it comes to this topic clearly there are a lot of charlatans out there that muddy the waters (however fun they may be), however the one thing i would point to as really undeniable is Commander David Fravor's account, someone like him who not only has a highly detailed & technical account but also has multiple supporting witnesses & video and audio footage from the navy jet he was flying, footage that has since been not only released by the pentagon but also verified by them as real, it's the most credible account out there of some kind of technology that's clearly well beyond our current known capabilities.
  18. So you're zipping along the galaxy minding your own business when suddenly you find your ship crash landed in some desert on a forsaken planet with seemingly no intelligent life forms to be found anywhere on the planet, what do you do to alleviate boredom until the rescue ship makes it to you all the way from zeta reticuli? set up a net in the desert and get a little tennis action in of course.
