  1. If I remember there was an informal poll done by the programmer in the WIP thread. He asked for other suggestions a few were tossed out but I think the overall consensus was that "Space Game" was an excellent tongue in cheek name for the game, and so it just stuck.
  2. Very Nice! I need to get a Wizard Cart made up. I have a box from Marc O that is a little lonely. I have Defender Arcade - Cart & Box and Pepsi Wins Cart & Box! - Thanks for you contributions.
  3. I believe those came with those light brown binder cases that hold like 8 carts. I have one sheet of those and was told by the guy I bought a manual lot from that it was for those binder cases.
  4. I bought mine in July of 2017 and I am also curious. I heard that Dungeon Stalker is one of the most taxing existing games for the Vox+. I popped it in and gave it a spin and didn't notice any issues like ZPHB did with WoWA.
  5. The VE is the "Value Edition" and uses TIA sound (No Pokey Chip) Al started offering an unlimited run of the POKEY version but you must supply your own POKEY. I asked him if he could make me a Beef Drop & Pac-Man Collection with POKEYS about a year ago. After he got back from PRGE last year and got caught up he sent them out in time for a nice Christmas gift to my self. A few months ago he added them to the store permanently.
  6. My new one is easily half the size or more of my old white and orange one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. These work surprisingly well, at least for me it did. When AT&T rolled out their 3G there was very spotty coverage around me despite being in a very populated & open area of my city. We could barely get one bar in our home which was also our home office. My AT&T small business rep would call my mobile monthly and calls would drop. LOL. I explained the terrible coverage that we had. He offered to get me one of these MicroCells for FREE. (Reg $200.00 at least at the time) We got the MicroCell and found a decent place to place it and we went from one bar to 4-5 bars consistently inside. It died a couple of years ago. I called my rep and they sent me out a newer version.
  8. If you go into the options menu and in the input settings you can set up a key on the keyboard for the "Fry" option. The default is the Backspace key. Granted this frying also jacks with every aspect of the game, random invader layouts etc. I don't know if there is a way to get double shots while preserving the rest of the gameplay.
  9. Atari_Bill is correct. Fabman99 is a legit seller, I have bought from him here on the AA Marketplace and I recently scored some nice rarities from him on ebay. As a matter of fact, he tried selling that cart here in the marketplace before he put it on ebay.
  10. What is fishy about a post from a guy who has already put the 2600 on a chip for the Flashback 2 and now he wants to take that idea to the next level and do a 7800. You know Coleco has 2 different versions of something like this coming to market and an Intellivision one also. Why not Atari? And not from the crap company Atari that is working on that crappy AtariBox. Oh and this post. https://syzygy3200.com/
  11. You obviously missed this post on the Atari Museum FB page
  12. Yep, I totally agree. Granted I have a Harmony Encore so I could go either way. But if we are getting a 26/78 and given that the Concerto has been in a holding pattern SD would be the best solution.
  13. Al is your new AVATAR a SIGN of something? Are we getting close for FROGGIE? I have a POKEY chip and a store credit burning a hole in my pocket.
  14. Speaking of... when do we get a new BIN? I need to drop it on my Concerto!
  15. I hope so and sure it probably will. But just in case I have this one from Marc in reserve. [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Is there a capital gains tax in Canada? If there is this probably doesn't qualify or will this all go unreported? Inquiring minds want to know.
  17. I bought in the second run of these and yes it was in the $80 range after shipping. I don't know that it is worth quite that much, and I haven't had a chance to put a lot of time into it. The package itself it top notch! The cart shell and art is also top notch.
  18. When was this? "angie" is currently offering a Pink Panther Box and Manual -No Cart and has PayPal listed. Granted I don't know if you can sell anything on eBay without PP. Angie offers a lot of cool stuff, but it all seems to scream questionable sources and outrageous prices. Anyone know the true story behind this seller. I avoid him like the plague but my searches seem to hit some of his offerings from time to time.
  19. I hear there is a landfill in New Mexico that used to LOVE those things. Not very environmentally responsible these days though.
  20. And I have no need to look at this thread anymore! LOL Thanks stumpus for reserving the only 2 I need. (Granted I am not going complete, but I have 2 more that I am missing.) Math & Berzerk.
  21. That is wicked cool! Would be nice if something could progress on the 7800. And this is coming from a guy that has a Concerto that is VERY Compatible with my 7800. Like 98% of the roms I drop on it work.
