Stellerator on iOS: Touch, offline and homescreen
groundtrooper replied to DirtyHairy's topic in Emulation
Ya I just gave up my Jail Break because I got an Apple watch. I was running iOS 9 and I lost a ton of regular apps that Apple no longer allows because they haven't been updated. I had an "Mame" emulator the slipped through Apples fingers and was in the App store for a couple of days before the pulled it. I can't remember the name of it now. It was disguised as something else but you could load mame roms on it. I was briefly skimming this topic and didn't dig deep to notice it was a web app. Thanks I will give it a try. -
Stellerator on iOS: Touch, offline and homescreen

Is this available in the US store? I have searched on my iPad yet only my phone but I couldn't find it. -
I know it sounds crazy to spend that much money on a controller for one game. IMO it is worth it for ROBOTRON 2084 on the 7800. You can also us it as a single player controller or less convenient use it for 2 player games also.

If you have 2 controllers plugged in you play just like the arcade one moves and the other shoots whatever direction you you point your stick at. The trick is rigging the sticks in some sort of coupler or buy a Edladdin Super Twin 78 controller like a few of us have done. Then it is JUST LIKE THE ARCADE.

I agree. I have one if Jerry’s 2600 and 7800 covers. I may grab 2 of those other covers for 2 other consoles that aren’t my daily drivers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

There was at one time here on AA. Jerry the guy who was selling them passed away unexpectedly last year. They had some inventory on Etsy the last time I checked but it looks like they are done and have closed up the shop. ****Edit**** The shop it still there. I couldn’t find it originally when I searched for “Atari Dust Covers” but it is still there. They don’t show any Atari covers in stock but if you contact them I am sure you can have one made. ************* There are these covers that I found on Etsy. Very interesting way to do them. -
Crossover Carts: Atari titles in Coleco shells

Good to know. I missed out on the Lady Bug Limited edition in the AA Store. I asked Al if he would do an "unnumbered" custom for me with a Coleco shell. He said that he didn't want to because he remembered that they were a major pain. But if it is doable I may do it. -
Very interesting and functional design. I have a bare board version that I can't see any possible way to house it in a shell. It works fine but it is awkward positioning it into the cart slot. I don't use it a lot. I have used it a couple of times to test if some of the eproms that came with it actually worked.

OK so it appears to me that your "Rubics Cube" is a "Reproduction" of the "3-D Rubiks Cube" prototype since it is marked limited edition and is a small numbered run. This is not the "Retail Version" of Rubik's Cube. Attached is what a retail "Rubik's Cube" cart looks like. - From my collection. It's basically the same as Atari Video Cube except for the name. I am not an EXPERT by any means but this changes my excitement about this post. You have a re-production of this.

Do you have pics? There were 2 versions. The "Rubik's Cube" version was a re-release of "Atari Video Cube".

Curios what serial series it is? A3 by chance? -
I think a combination of both. Maybe he can chime in with a first person opinion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It can be done with an Y Cable. Dauber did a test with dual stick mode and the Vox, it works but the sounds are not the same as dual stick mode. Here is a video of his test. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FRtq_i1V9A0

The only way to beat the homebrew scalpers is to join them and undercut them with retail prices. I hope Al steals all of their business.

You and I both. Good Luck.
