I need to find some time to put in on this to try for a patch. I don't get far after the 6th or 7th canyon. Then I start dying quickly. There is obviously some strategy that I need to figure out to get past some of those baddies. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Better Jump on that!! -
Very cool! Thanks for sharing!

Wow I can't believe Best is out of White Cores. I guess they were bound to run out at some point. I am glad I bought refurb gold kits from them in 2016 when I got back in to this crazy hobby! Nice that there are some other reliable sources that have been shared.

Time Pilot is the sweet spot in your set here. Fun find for sure.

I recently just catalogued and inventoried my collection digitally and I scanned a lot of my Homebrews boxes and carts. Here's a Time Salvo for you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

WANTED: Feedback for Pac-Man Collection! and Crazy Otto
groundtrooper replied to Dauber's topic in Atari 7800
I can't say much for than what trebor has detailed of course but here are my thoughts. Pac-Man Collection was the first home brew I purchased after getting into the 7800. It is an amazing feat to have all these Pac-Man variations in one cart. Bob did a great job as he always does. I recently had Albert make me a custom Pac-Man Collection with a POKEY chip for enhanced sound. It takes what is already a great game and makes it just a little better. They will be available in the Atari Age store in the near future. You must send Al a pokey chip of course but its a great upgrade. -
LOL. Do you want another check for three-fitty? ($3.50)
-
LOL. Man that seller is dreaming.

Not to derail this thread but it is an A3 that is AV-SVid modded. Everything I have thrown at it works other than B*nQ. from what I have read in the thread that is a trouble maker for everyone. I wanted to report to the SD Cart thread my findings but I have just been to busy to type up my findings. But I am very excited that is works and all the Pokey games work fine with the Pokey installed.

So we would be looking at another Super Charger Multi load situation. No thanks. I'll stick with my Harmony and Concerto carts.

Wow. Who knew? Besides you. Very impressive for the CoCo3 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes. You supply the pokey. If you send in a Ballblazer cart you are killing 2 birds with one stone. A pokey and a cartridge shell. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I assumed if tep392 was on the case it would be of the up most quality. I haven't put a lot of time in on those 2600 DK HB's. I have tried both in the past but I don't remember the sounds. I am sure it will be great, even if it is TIA.
-
Yes and that! and YES the best!!
-
As long as the TIA version doesn't sound like Atari's Retail 7800 DK. I have Ballblazer set aside... I don't have an XM and looks like it will be awhile before I will have an option to have one.
-
Or the best solution would be to: 1. Sell your 2600 2. Buy a 7800 - You can still play your 2600 games without buying additional hardware. 3. Get a Pokey Chip and send it to tep392 and have him make you a a Donkey Kong PK. You will then be able to play the best version of Donkey Kong that includes all 4 levels (Even CV can't do that) and you get much more tolerable sounds and music than any other home console version.
-
This is the simplest solution. Since the OP has the Cirka 77 just order a 2600daptor and be done with it. I have 2 that I use with my Best Gold Refurb kit on my original 1978 CX-40 Joysticks and it works like you are playing on real hardware.

Atari Flashback Portable - SD Card
groundtrooper replied to Greenfuzz's topic in AtGames Flashback and Portable Consoles
Yes. I don't think anyone has got a 16gb to work. The problem is the 16gb is the most common entry level card size and 8gb or small is hard to find unless you hit amazon or ebay or you have an old one laying around. No problem I could ask a million questions but most of the issues are having to do with card size or setting up the Games folder incorrectly. -

Oh boy. You have obviously not read a lot of threads that atari181 has posted in and this same question is asked and answered. LOL.
