T:ME SALVO WITH AtariVox speech is not working properly
groundtrooper replied to Marco Miccoli's topic in Atari 7800
I didn't play this at all on my Mateo's. And if I had I didn't have a Vox at that point. I got the Vox about 3 weeks after I got my early pre-order of T:ME Salvo. re:Extension. I am obviously using an extension for my Vox+ on my 7800 for Salvo. I bought my extensions from Edladdin and as I stated no distortions like Marco is having. -
T:ME SALVO WITH AtariVox speech is not working properly
groundtrooper replied to Marco Miccoli's topic in Atari 7800
That is weird. Mine works fine speech wise. What is weird is this is the 2nd or 3rd time I have played it but none of my previous high scores were saved on the Vox. I played 5 quick games (quick because I suck at Salvo at this point) and I powered down my 7800 and they saved this time in between games, but I should have had scores from my last session about a month ago, unless I don't understand how the Vox works but I was under the impression that it saved scores after power down. -
Where did you get your roms originally? There is a set made by ROM Hunter that has NTSC & PAL separated. They are broken out like this... You can get it here

If you could get a high res version of this it woudn't be to hard to do.

This would be my first guess. I mean it looks like what you described CPUWIZ but if you zoom in there is branded Atari. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

groundtrooper replied to Chris Leach's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
LOL. I don't need ALL of them. I am picking and choosing as budget permits. Space for me is also an issue. But I do want select stuff CIB so I keep coming back to help build my CIB collection and help Chris unload his. -
Hmm what was I saying...Atari Age Store orders being called into question for taking too long. LOL.

Another PM sent, for another round of games! -
He got me again with the 7800 cards. Cancelled my original pledge and upgraded and back with a 7800 card set. I have been eyeing them on his site but had held off. But if I can get them with the book then I am all in. I hope this is successfully funded. It is moving along, albeit slower than I would like to see. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This is true. Albert was constantly giving us subscribers updates over that 5 week period explaining the reason for the delays...(Ie new labels, etc.) And yes a simple email would help remedy a lot of these types of questions. I have seen similar posts here on AA and on AAFB about Harmony orders. It seems to be a common issue.

I would back this 100 times before I would throw a dime at any other dead horse...ie Coleco Chameleon. (Sorry to bring that thing up!)

We now live in an instant gratification society. In that past month there have been at least 6 people on the Atari Age FB page wanting to know why their home brew order hasn't shipped and in their hand after 7 days. My new copy and paste response is "This isn't Amazon Prime. It's a one man show and not his day job. Relax and be patient. I waited over 5 weeks for my early bird home brew order and I didn't once question or get pissy that it wasn't there after a week. This is hobby and you are not going die if you don't get your goods in 7 days. I am not knocking the OP. Just a basic commentary about the world we live in now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes I noticed the same thing last night. It is brutally slow. I haven't tested many as it took me a while to sort out my setup to get it working but I think I will really enjoy this for a quick game here and there without walking up to my loft and playing on my real hardware which is my preferred method. It just doesn't happen that often.

Well someone really wanted one...This one sold on ebay for $210 + $16 shipping. This guy was dumping a whole bunch of AA Hb's Including Crystal Quest. You could buy a lot of POKEY CHIPS with that coin. Even with the new jacked up prices that POKEY's are going for as of late.

2018 Atari 2600 sell off wttf tranfors g1 or classic

I would say yes. I have bought from Chris in this thread about 5 different times since it was started and they are all NTSC except where he has noted they are PAL. -

The only way to tell is by: 1: Having they post a pic of game play showing the SCORE font. 2: Opening up the cart looking at the rom chip. #1 is the easiest and preferred method. Just because it is a Night Scene Picture label doesn't mean it's Atlantis II This is Atlantis This is Atlantis II

I backed it yesterday after seeing a post. I wish I had knows sooner for one of the other early birds that is now sold out. Oh well. I hope this makes it to funding. Marc does a great job on his boxes I am sure the book won't disappoint. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

is this a legit Red Sea Crossing in this eBay auction?
groundtrooper replied to labels's topic in Auction Central
Looks like a repro to me. I think the original cart had the finger grips on the shell similar to Activision's shells. That looks like a standard Atari shell to me. I think the pic below is a legit shell. But I am not an expert on this. -
I would say that is the only reason it would be that high. It is the initial release version from CGE with the case. Although there are times when an ebay seller will hype the rarity of a HB game in hopes that some uneducated person will pay big money not knowing they could still buy the game at a normal price like in the AA Store. I don't think that is the case here. This is rare version and there obviously a couple of people that want to add it to there collection that have some cash to throw around to do it.

Here is my 80 gb (With my Sandtrooper Armor as the wallpaper) Sorry for the interruption... Back to the BOX
-
I still have my 80gb Zune. It is the 2nd gen so it looks a little more modern than the first gen ones featured in the movie. It still works. I have had the battery replaced once. I got a little grin on my face at the end of GOTG2 when they gave Quinn the Zune! My immediate thought was, well the secondary market on those is going up immediately just like the Sony Walkman did after the first movie. I know a few people were making 3D printed ones for Cosplayers because the prices went so high with the real thing. I have the Awesome Mix Vol 1 & 2 in cassette form.
