  1. http://www.atari7800.com/xest/guide.htm I know it's based upon the Digital Press list, and it might be a bit dated, but this seems to be the ballpark (if not a bit pricey) for how things go in ebay. Just curious.
  2. Anyone? I'm looking to buy either or both of these carts, boxed or not. Anyone?
  3. I will pay any reasonable price (list price +/- a little), boxed or loose. I just want the game to play. I'm getting tired of placing orders for it on sites that advertise that they have it, and then tell you it's sold out after not contacting you back for a week.
  4. Does your price on the robot tank include shippig or no?
  5. Cuttle Cart 2. 835874[/snapback] Ok, How about one that I don't need to take out a mortgage to buy?
  6. Is there a version of Berzerk VE available on cart? I know I can play it in an emu, but I wanna hear it on my 7800.
  7. then by all means, go post on a Mario board.
  8. And seriously - this is a discussion forum, not a debate forum. I started this thread to discuss the possibility of bringing more arcade-quality ports to the 7800. If you want to discuss rehashing some lameass Yugiohno-Chin-Poko-mon text and turn based JapAnime crapola for the 7800, kindly do it in your own thread, thanks.
  9. I think you underestimate the 7800's ability to push polygons.
  10. I agree Zaxxon would rock. Maybe Ghosts & Goblins too. Gyruss. Defender. Definitely. Bombjack. A Trakball-mode compatible Centipede. Crystal Castles trakball-compatible. I, Robot. Popeye. Tempest. I know some of you guys want "new" and "original" games - but 99% of the reason why I loved the 7800 was becasue it had the best and most accurate Arcade conversions. NES sucked and Sega was limited to Sega-only games. I couldn't care less about new games, and RPGs just won't work on it. It's an arcade machine at heart.
  11. I kow it doesn't exist...but I;m wodnering if I can pull a jedi mind trick on Kenfused and convince him that this is the next games to port to the7800.... please.
  12. I am uber-anxiously awaiting the arrival of my newly snagged copy of Pitfall II that I won on ebay. Actually, I got Pitfall II, H.E.R.O., The Activision Decathlon, River Raid, and Sky Jinks. But mostly for Pitfall II & H.E.R.O.. Those were without a doubt my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE 2600 games back in the day. Never got to play the 5200 version either, and was kinda bummed it never made it to a 7800 version. So who wants to take wagers on whether Decathlon runs on my 7800? I've heard that there are frequent problems running Decathlon on 7800's anyone else seem to experience this? For the record - Space Shuttle runs on my 7800 no problem, although it's a later model....
  13. Ken mentioned in the Beef Drop thread that he lost some files in an HD crash which would delay the 7800 Beef Drop cart release. On April first. And then he mentioned it again on April 2. Yep he did: LOL. I guess he got you twice?
  14. Ken mentioned in the Beef Drop thread that he lost some files in an HD crash which would delay the 7800 Beef Drop cart release. On April first.
  15. Not mislisted really so much as vaguely listed. Normally I search for Atari 2600 or atari 7800 etc. he just had them listed as "Atar" games.
  16. Ok - so what are the chances that either this or Beef Drop are going to make it to cart form any time soon?
  17. So how does that explain why it runs in every emulator?
  18. I love it when you find a great deal on Ebay becasue the Seller doesn't know how to list things.... I just got Activision Decathalon, H.E.R.O., Pitfall II Lost Caverns, River Raid, and Sky Jinks for $1 each. HERO or Pifall II alone go for $15 each on most web Atari resellers. Nice. Oh - and the Labels are MINT too, No-Actiplaque.
  19. You know...this game was one of the reasons I bought a 7800 again recently. And with allt he virus activity my company has had recently - I almost actually believed Ken. Bastid.
  20. Yeah, I think I might just do that. Might not be a bad idea to have one for parts. Probably got on on ebay for 10-20. Even with the check thing...I just kinda get peeved when a company has a "minimum" order amount, but then whacks you with shipping charges on top of it too. If I'm being forced to purchase a certain dollar amount of goods, when in reality I only want one particular item, then I shouldn't have to pay a premium for shipping unless I'm out of country or asking for special shipping(next day or overnight). I mean seriously - UPS ground costs like $3.00 for up to like 10 lbs. But they want to hit me wiht $10 shipping for something that weighs like 8 ounces boxed, on top of a minimum dollar amount order? That's just highway robbery.
  21. yeah, it's $20 minimum if you don't mind giving out your Credit Card # over the phone (which I mind), but if you want to paypal the minimum is $50. It's almost as if they discourage people from buying on the net. weird.
  22. I don't need a whole cart slot, just the rubber/plastic cover with the tabs that open older 2600 carts with the dust cover. And Best Elec. has some retarded $50 minimum order or something now if you use Paypal. I don't want to pay out $50 to fix something that costs 50 cents. thanks for the reply though Mitch.
  23. The 7800 I recently bought has the tabs for opening older 2600 carts from the cartridge slot broken off, so to play 2600 games, I have to pry them open first. Does anyone know how to fix or replace these plastic tabs on a 7800 cart slot? Thanks again folks....
  24. HaHA!! That worked like a charm. All the buttons are now super-responsive again. Although popping the button caps back into place wasn't as easy as it sounded, but in the end the result was fantastic. Thanks Superpsycho - and thanks Justin for the offer.
