  1. Bulk buy of: (All factory sealed) Sim Earth 6 copies Buster Bros 12 copies Shadow of the Beast 6 copies Sherlock Holmes 6 copies 10 NEW IN BOX TurboPADS These are the last of my Turbo Duo games. I don't have anymore, and I can't get anymore. I want $255 shipped for EVERYTHING. That is the best deal of anything on this forum, and great for a reseller. If you are outside the USA, I want $325 shipped.
  2. CPUWIZ: Those are all protos from Sega. I don't think socketed/unsocketed ever mattered on Sega/NES stuff because I've seen all kinds. These are the same as the Clint Dyer ones I have, so they're real.
  3. The curator of the cart protos knows about this already though =)
  4. What are you even talking about? There's no such thing as a PAL Myriad, unless you were trying to be funny.
  5. Spending high amounts on videogames is naturally ridiculous but it is damn fun! It's less ridiculous than buying a new car =) IN the long run, that's the biggest waste of money ever. Might as well get a used car on the cheap..
  6. I don't think $2500 is ridiculous by any means for that game. Just depends on how bad you want it. I've had 0 offers at $2500 anyway.....
  7. Complete, loose, w/ manual only, I don't care. PM me with price please!
  8. I'll tell ya, if protos were really worth "hundreds of dollars apiece", I would seriously be a millionaire if I sold my cart protos. The value is what they go for on ebay running auctions if you know how to hide them correctly and not get pulled.
  9. Hey can u send me an email Im might like a few of your games here. [email protected] Dude, you just bumped a 6+ year old post.
  10. Well, the seller claims: Anyway, $50,000 is an insane amount of money for some bytes of ROM and a network interface... Roland, this is not the Powerfest cart. It's the Campus Challenge that he is selling, and yes, there are TWO of those, and he also owns the Powerfest, which only 1 exists.
  11. Too bad there is only one so there is nothing to network with. It would be pretty cool to replicate them though. There are two that exist. And this has been listed on eBay before. I don't understand why people forget this, it's always the same listings.
  12. Shadow, local stores = whatever. That's anyone's game. You leave it for someone else, more than likely the next person is going to sell it. If you see a Quadrun that you already have for $50 and NOT get it and NOT eBay it for at least double your profit, that's pretty silly if you ask me. It may sound evil to people, but everything we buy is marked up from somewhere. Even the guy that was originally selling that game for $50 in his store probably only paid $5 for it anyway. If I did not buy/sell, I would not be able to buy half the things in my collection that I decided to keep, but I definitely don't agree with letting things go in the store part. I am more of a running auctions type of guy anyway, it's the ones that buy that Quadrun for $50 and put $500 or BEst Offer that gets me. I'll let it ride at 9.99 and see where it goes.
  13. I've had many great deals with her with 0 problems. I don't think it's everybody.
  14. Who would win in a fight? A cherry CIB TitleMatch or a Sealed Tank Command. I'm glad I finished 7800 CIB awhile ago...in this day and age, I don't want to be looking for titles like this anymore
  15. Megasdkirby: the argument you have is still flawed, it's just what YOU think is a waste of money. Moderation or not, the justification is there. Why buy video games period? Heck, save money and play board games with your family then! I mean, you could go on and on with something like this. Like I said, EVERYTHING can be a predetermined waste of money to someone. It's all relative, but in this day and age, spending thousands on a video game is a better bet than spending thousands on cds, dvds, or most stocks...
  16. If they keep responding, they don't get a strike, but yeah, it's gotten out of control with the buyers not paying. If eBay won't allow negative feedback for buyers that won't pay, they need to have something notifying sellers of buyers that have not paid for their auctions.
  17. Holygrail: You would have been better off not responding in the first place. To try and defend the word "rare" in the title as such because there aren't Atari 2600 games close to you, that's preposterous. You could say that about almost ANYTHING depending on location. Basically any vintage game and system even produced in the millions would be considered "rare" because it's no longer sold at the local Wal-Mart? It's keyword spamming, and eBay gets angry about that. I'm the last person in the world to defend eBay, but you can't really defend your position in this one unfortunately. Everyone sells their stuff/resells their stuff (eventually), etc, but the big problem that people keep referring to from this whole situation is that you buy/resell on eBay, come here to advertise and resell on the forums but mostly for your auctions. It's understandable it's a "service" to obtain these so everyone can just order from you directly, but I think the whole using "I need so and so for my collection" as a reasoning to why you want/obtain certain things and then sell everything off has kind of gotten to people, so this just multiplies their feelings towards the situation.
  18. [CPUWiz: Phase 1 of the economy collapse happened. Lochjaw ready for a new home?
  19. Megasdkirby: Like everyone said, it's a "collectable." No difference from that or a $1,000,000 Honus Wagner Baseball Card that is just going to SIT there. By virtue of what you are saying, anything would be a waste of money that is a collectable if you are not getting any use out of it. You can get more use out of those games I mentioned by playing them a couple of times. What are you going to do with rare stamps, coins, and paintings? You're going to sit and STARE at them. Your logic is silly on this. You may think it is a waste of money, but so are many things. Going out to the bar when you can drink cheap beer at home. Buying anything not in bulk because it's cheaper that way. The list goes on and on, everyone thinks something else is a waste of time and money. Heck, I think going out is one big waste of cash. I don't do anything with my money except buy video games and sell the excess ones I get so I can purchase more. It's my hobby, and I enjoy doing it. I'm not rich or anything, it's what I like to do/collect. Biggest waste of money IMO are new cars. Those things drop in value the minute you drive off the lot! Surely megasdkirby you have never "wasted" money on anything that was not worth it? You must never go out, have a new car, eat at restaurants, or buy CDs or anything. It all adds up to the same thing.
  20. CPUWIZ wrote: I thought about selling you mine for about a second, and then I thought "Nah, paper money won't be worth anything anymore next week anyway.". Come the end of the year, when half the country is in flames, and you got a truck full of water, gasoline and other eatable items, we may be able to talk then. You know, we had crazy gasoline issues in Nashville last week, like we were in a Mad Max movie or something trying to find gasoline...whole city was on a different vibe, so you're not far off!
  21. Huh? I don't think DreamTR is going to be able to find this for $2. Trust me on this one. Unless there really is some really big Condor Attack find that I do not know about. megasdkirby: Maybe years ago they were cheap, but with inflation and collecting, you're very far off with what these games are worth at the moment. I don't lowball anyone, and I don't play games. And to prove my point, no one has even come to me with an OFFER of these games yet, so that should tell you that people don't want to sell them even for these supposed "desperation" prices as you say. How do you think the guy that bought the NWC Gold for $15,000 feels knowing some were sold for $2 or $50? How about all of the neat crazy collectables and items that are found in garage sales for cheap and sold for a lot of money. It's the equivalent of winning the lottery in a way, but they just aren't available "cheap" like you think they are. If they were, someone would have sold ONE copy of Lochjaw on eBay CIB in the past 2-3 years.
