Wow, I'm surprised nobody has said Die Hard Trilogy for the PS1. I put a lot of hours into that one. Is it a 10/10? No. But it was a real bang for the buck for three 6 or 7 out 10 games for one price. If anyone is a fan of light gun games, the second chapter of the game (Die Hard 2) is high on my list.

Make sure the vga port is enabled. Try the windows key + p. That key combo will bring up external monitor options. -
Additional Fees on Ebay that caught me by surprise this year already
H454 replied to taxman's topic in Auction Central
I think we are about to see a lot variety of stuff on the for sale area of forums. Anything I list in the future will probably have a 5% charge for not using the friends and family option for paypal. CL is a 50/50 chance of a quick sale or a long, drawn out PITA. Haven't tried Facebook marketplace, because I hate FB. Things are going back to when I was kid. Send somebody the money and wait 4-6 weeks. -

Even before the parts shortages these only had like a couple runs of them made. I think they where around $150 for the kit? Very hard to get the kit and install requires de-soldering the cpu and the graphics chips (both 40 pin). I sold a top loader with an led mod for $350 3-4 years ago. Sold another on ebay for $475 around 3 years ago. The top loaders are worth much more than the lunch boxes by far. Even though I don't see these kits getting made again, this is a pretty high asking price. $600 is about what its probably worth. What's REALLY annoying is asking that much and STILL CHARGING SHIPPING! All of that fits in the big flat rate box for $20 - with plenty of room for padding.
-
So, are you asking if somebody here has one because you don't want to wait a month for shipping? Or you "googled" it and couldn't find anything?
-
I got mine from gamestop. You will probably have to downgrade the bios.

Is the conversion rate 100 loonies to 1 green back? Then I'll bite.

I felt the same about the Back to the future Delorean. Still want the ecto-1, but hope the quality is a little better. -
I hope its white board maker. Heck, it is still a PITA to clean up, but even a grease pencil like crappy thrift stores use would have been better.

Opcode Games Super Game Module (NEW IN BOX) - For Sale
H454 replied to NIAD's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
I want to say $99? I got the plain black unit in the printed box. It was the 2nd or 3rd run. I meant to buy a couple more, but I forgot ( and opcode makes buying anything through them a PIA). Then the 2 weeks two slow the curve happened. I have seen this ColecoVision RAMBOard 32k on ebay and was thinking about trying it.- 36 replies

Nyko Charge Station - Any way to identify these batteries?
H454 replied to livingonwheels's topic in Nintendo Wii / Wii U
If I had to guess - 4/5 AA. It's listed as 43mm tall. Check the height, but these are probably it: https://www.amazon.com/Rechargeable-Battery-1-2V-1300mAh-Count/dp/B07KSZ283S Also, the spot welded connector on the org. batt pack has printing on it. SL175 720A Looks like a fuse. You would reuse the old one or buy another. Something like these: https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/littelfuse-inc/VLR175F/956550 NOTE - That top link is just an "educated" guess. I can't find a direct cross number for whats on the strap. -
Re-flashing the bios would be a good second option. I would start with a fresh sd card. Like a NEW sd card - format - then put the system files on it ( or what it needs, I don't remember) and then copy your rom files over. I have had SD cards on multiple flash get corrupted. I am now in the habit of ejecting sd cards from the PC every-time, just to reduce the chance of them getting bad. Also, make sure use what sd card specs are recommended too. Like size and brands.

Whats your location? Most people will ignore these posts for heavy stuff because they don't know where you are.

If you want to put the shelf back in/up - check the hardware bins at an Ace Hardware (or similar) for the shelf pegs. Wood working stores will them too. But, they will be more expensive. Every time anything with a peg gets moved around here, at least one ends up missing. Or I find the pegs end up in a junk drawer and the furniture is long gone.

If you have an xbox (XBOX one or newer) with lots of disk space and a FAST internet connection - then yes. Its a set fee per month for games on demand. Most games you would want to play are on there. OG xbox and 360 classics are a nice bonus. The cons- Stuff like Fallout New Vegas is on there, but not the DLC. AAA games that are at least a year old. Lots of indie game bloat. For a 360 - probably not worth it.

I don't think the genesis has a fuse - just a power regulator. If the ac adapter is getting hot - then the genesis is drawing power. Most likely to much power because a component shorted. Testing the power supply voltage and power regulator on the main board would be a go start. https://console5.com/store/7805-l78s05cv-high-output-2a-5v-voltage-regulator-3-pin-to-220-5v.html
