found a dark area in the forest by going through a monolith and I can't get anywhere cause the blue things in there kill in one hit.

I heard somewhere that the C64 version of Ghostbusters was being developed as a different game when it got converted into Ghostbusters. Something about driving cars around and fighting other cars I think? Did that version ever get released?

Is it just me or do the slimers seem harder to catch then on the Commodore 64 version? Couldn't get past the Marshmallow Man at the end of the game. He kept stomping my guys.

I won with the wizard. I saw something in the forest. I thought the key appearing in the forest was a glitch.

I saw the key appear in the forest after I picked up the mistletoe and died.

The third part where you get the last item to take back to the grove is impossible too many blue enemies taking health faster then I can heal.

How come the people that make homebrew on NES make new cartridge casing for their games while those who make homebrew games on Atari 2600 reuse old carts? Can't new 2600 cartridge shells be made like the way people make new NES cartridge shells?

Just got today at Vintage Stock Right and Up directions didn't work at first. I opened it up and moved the white ring around. Now it works fine. The silver is long gone from the word Gemstik.

I miss the console tv my family had. It had the 2 analog knobs and a separate power/volume knob in the middle. I *THINK* it was a 25" tv but back then I never paid attention to that stuff.
I was about to acquire it just before I got divorced so, unfortunately, I lost the space to take it in so they gave it away (and had to give up my collection that year too). I keep my eyes open on Craigslist in case one pops up.
I miss console TVS as well. We had a heathkit console TV for a while that dad built but it turned into a real problem child and kept breaking down.. Dad scrapped it in the late 1980s..

Is that unknown Datatech game dumped?

What do the disks do? I find them more then the oasis parts.

Does it work? It would be bad news if didn't.

Did Gemini Industries Inc make any other video game stuff besides the Gemstik?

Somebody cloned the Atari 2600 ET cartrdige for the spectrum. Those voice samples are annoying.
-
I play it a lot. I beat all 7 games it. If there are any more easter eggs in it I don't know nor care. It's still a fun game.

Battlestar Galactica:Space Attack (Fan hack 2018)
in Atari 2600
Posted
The following was Inspired by reading up on Space Battle for the Intellivision and after discovering that Space Attack for the Atari VCS works on the VCS emulator for the Jaguar.
What has always fascinated me was how this was supposed to be a Battlestar Galactica game. For years this game eluded me, but once you understand to start the game by moving the joystick, and the deploying your squadrons by holding down the button and pushing left, right, and up to launch, it becomes much easier at that point.
