I had a a cracked copy of spy hunter cracked by crystaline caverns II. It had a small skull on the bottom of the screen that would shake ,fall off , and be replaced by a bigger skull with flashing red and blue blackground. Anyone have that version>

North American Computer market crash?
bradhig1 replied to bradhig1's topic in Classic Computing Discussion
We bought a Commodore 64 because we used them at school. We did our book reports on it and dad did some compuserve stuff on it. Of course we played games with it as well. Did Jack Tamiel make this commerical? Is that a Commodore 64 on the right? I remember seeing another version comparing the atari 8 bit with a commodore 64 in which the kid was playing games on the c64. -
This video about the history of Jack Tarmiel claims the home computer market in the US crashed in 1984. That is insane claiming Americans didn't buy home computers the way Europeans did?

A bad power brick wrecked the SID in the C64 I have and I replaced it and the power brick with another one. How do I keep my c64 from being fried again.

This is a type in game from Compute's Gazette that is an advanture clone. I think it may be a little complicated for the 2600.

What is the point of making a Peach Amiibo if you can't use it in the game?

I am just tired of the same plot over and over again. You think I have it bad

Another lame princess kidnapping plot ugggh. Come up with something more original Nintendo no more princess kidnapping. Same problem with Zelda she keeps getting kidnapped again and again. A bad broken record.

Impossible Mission II on Atari ST is brutal
bradhig1 replied to bradhig1's topic in Atari ST/TT/Falcon Computers
I can't get it boot cause steem keeps trying to boot the gamebase stuff. -
The difficulty level is brutal compared to the Commodore 64 version. Are there any trainers for it?

Two games from Compute and Compute's Gazette have bad graphics problems. Bowling Champ someone didn't fix the graphics around the scores. How could they miss that. Canyon Runner the listing doesn't match the one in the magazine the line numbers are wrong. These are from the vic 20 gamebase. Are the disk versions available anywhere? 2017-11-06_20-10-31.mp4 2017-11-06_20-12-16.mp4

Maybe if you reveal the ultimate easter egg in Haunted Adventure Trilogy they will sell them in Canada. -
Vic-20 version

another attempt at finding the ultimate easter egg failed. I tried luring the skeleton to walk through the text in the same order.

found an easter ege in haunted adventure trilogy
bradhig1 replied to bradhig's topic in Homebrew Discussion
It's worth it except that ultimate easter egg which will never be found without rom hacking. -
There is also a version on the VIc 20.

Colors are bad because all the c64 emulators were made by euros who used PAL color palette rather then NTSC color palette
