  1. I hooked up a VCR and it helps with the Coleco Colortron and the Sears Telegmes Hockey Tennis II yet the magnavox odyssey 100 was refurbished by the seller and on the vcr through A//V cables the signal for it goes in and out while just hooked up to the TV the picture is shaky. Might try running the VCR through Coaxial connection tomorrow.

  2. I just got a Coleco Telstar Colortron today and it has the same problem two other pong consoles have. The picture is shaky. I can play the game. The Colortron doesn't have a knob near or on the RF box in the console to adjust the picture. I adjusted my Tele Games Hockey Tennis III and it shows the correct colors yet the picture is still shaky.

  3. I have a Sears Telegames Hockey Tennis IIi which is a re branded APF pong and a Magnavox Odyssey 100. The picture on Hockey Tennis three is blurry and wobbly and the Magnavox Odyssey 100 picture is wobbly. Is it just my flatscreen not liking 1970s tech? My Telstar Arcade and Radio Shack TV Scoreboards work fine on it.post-47844-0-57035200-1494621075_thumb.jpgpost-47844-0-30527800-1494621753_thumb.jpgpost-47844-0-75882000-1494621768_thumb.jpgpost-47844-0-87316400-1494621785_thumb.jpgpost-47844-0-38539400-1494621804_thumb.jpgpost-47844-0-76475800-1494621821_thumb.jpg

  4. No.

As to why the titles of some Sears consoles and cartridges were suffixed like numerals, there doesn't seem to be a lot of consistency. They generally denoted the number of players. For instance, the "IV" dedicated consoles supported four players, and that could explain "Breakaway IV" on the Video Arcade system. But it doesn't explain "Speedway II,"which also supports four players, or the "Hockey-Tennis III" system, which only supports two (incidentally, there was no "Hockey-Tennis I" but there was "Hockey-Pong").

Now I want a Sears Speedway or Speedway IV. Where there other pong consoles that also played those racing games?

I noticed the Lloyds pong 812 rebranded as Monteverdi pong 825. I know Lloyds was Westen Auto's in house electronic brand. Did they license the unit from Monteverdi or did Monteverdi license it from them? Does anyone have a color one and colors does it display? I was thinking about getting one.
