  1. Just found a copy of Laaser Voley while unpacking from a move. What's the latest on this cart? Seemed collectible about 10 years ago (not expensive but coveted), but haven't much about it since. Any updates would be appreciated - thanks!
  2. Good to hear it worked - someone recently gave me a junior with pooched tabs, so this will give me a new project to tackle down the road.
  3. Just looking up tab repairs and stumbled upon this thread. How did the repair hold up?
  4. The lot came with both computers, joysticks, cartridges, and the sidecars.
  5. Picked up a TRS-80/TI-99 for the cartridge games, but ended up with these as well. Anyone give me any intel on them? I'm guessing they won't do me much good, but maybe I'll be surprised.
  6. Thanks for the intel, everyone. Not sure what I'll do with them at this point; I have a local friend who might be interested in them, or I might just find a home elsewhere. I have so many more items to go through that I don't want to get too sidetracked by things I know little to nothing about!
  7. I bought an Atari computer lot last year, and finally got around to going through everything. When testing the computers (everything works!), I came across some chips that appear to be unused. Anyone able to give me details on them? I basically bought these to play games, but obviously the guy selling the stuff was doing more than playing the occasional game of Missile Command.
  8. Here's what I've played so far: Donkey Kong - fiendishly difficult! Joust - really decent port. Can't get past the first pterry stage, though. Pac-Man - again, great port! Blue Max - heard rumours that it's a tough game, but I didn't have a hard time figuring it out. Pengo - didn't spend a lot of time with it, but I didn't mind it. Need to figure out the controls a bit better. Atlantis - very enjoyable. Spent more time with this than any other game. Beam Rider - my friends really like this one, but it didn't do much for me. Submarine Commander - basically put it in long enough to test it. Not a big fan of this style of game, usually. Final Orbit - again, a game my friends enjoy but didn't do much for me. Still have to try Missile Command, but if it's anything like the 2600 version, I'll enjoy it. Thanks for the recommendations thus far!
  9. Finally got my Atari 400(s) up and running after purchasing a big computer lot last year. Really enjoying the cartridge games so far (hoping to enjoy the cassette games once I replace the belts). Any cart based games you'd recommend? I have quite a few standard arcade ports, but am hoping to eventually expand the collection.
  10. I bumped it back up because I finally got back on the Atari computing horse after a long delay. Hoping to get a list of the issues up soon - there are a lot of them!
  11. It's been a while but I haven't forgotten about this - had to move on to new projects, and am finally swinging back after a long delay.
  12. Two questions 1) Are the 410 belts still available? 2) Is installation difficult? I'm slightly better than a beginner in terms of being able to figure stuff out, but don't want to get in over my head.
  13. I'll try to post some pics when I get home. Not sure what I am going to do with them yet - the lot came with three computers, monitors, books, games, and lots of odds and sods. Dude was into the computers and didn't throw anything away. I don't usually collect computers, but I couldn't say not - most of the items were complete in box.
  14. Bought a huge Atari computer lot a while back and am slowly sorting through it. One item I pulled from the wreckage recently was about 100 Atari Magazines - Antic, Atari Interface, Start, and ST Log. Haven't decided if they're going to stay in the collection yet, though - I'm slowly coming to the realization I've bitten off more than I can chew with the lot.
  15. Would love to see more photos - looks amazing!
