Understandable. I got cut badly by glass from an exploding swimming pool light bulb. Hope this doesn't scare you more!

Vacuum tubes usually don't explode...they implode. No pressure inside.

Had a projector bulb explode and render the whole unit dead. Ya, phear the bulb indeed!
