ipad is ridiculous.. It doesn't allow you to transfer files to and from the PC without spending more money.

  I'm using an iPad now. It can be useful for certain superficial tasks (like writing status updates really slowly!), but anyone who thinks it's an adequate replacement for a desktop computer has never really used a computer, at least not for anything more substantial than surfing and messaging and gaming.
