      Though I would not bother I would imagine as has been mentioned CHEAP, plus it has some DIY appeal, some people simply like to "tinker" and see what can be done, how well it can be done and how it can be optimized etc. Better emulation then Flashbacks lol. Lastly, WHY NOT? Options are great.

      I would think of it the other way around: RasperryPi is dirt cheap and more than capable of emulating everything up to the SNES and MD perfectly. So why waste a more powerful, and more power hungry hardware for doing that? Rather keep the powerful devices to do the demanding stuff.
