... and I liked it that way!

Whenever I see someone setting up one of the modern consoles (one that they brought to a party, for instance), I'm always amazed at how many hoops they have to jump through before they can even begin having fun: syncing the controllers, fixing online access, downloading updates, etc.

Too many games depend on flashy graphics and "story" and lose the strategy and fun along the way.

You don't need much if you strip down the game to the actual gameplay (think pong) I guess.
