When I came home this afternoon I found the living room and part of the foyer in shambles. Stuff strewn everywhere, upended.. Called the cops thinking there was a break-in. Then the wife got back from the store. And it all made sense! She was trying to catch a fast-moving spider.
One of those smaller wolf-spiders that you see on the bike path, the ones that can cross it in like 2 seconds. And in doing so disorganized the room quite thoroughly.
She went out to get some bug spray. And because of miscommunication and a spider cops were called, and all sorts of drama occurred. Idiot neighbors gawking and filming. And all of us stomping and making noise to scare the fucker out.
