    Enjoying Battlefield Earth, fixing rom hunters rom pack, and the crisp cold northern air tonight. All I need is someone to order a pizza, too lazy to get up and get the phone.

      I really like Battlefield Earth. Saw it in theaters and own the DVD. Too bad the DVD is missing some scenes and Blu Ray is import only. Not sure why it's such an unpopular flick. :-(

      The book is better than the movie, but it's a long and bloated read.

      It's escapist reading. Supposed to large and long! All of Hubbard's work is like that. Including the characters, larger than life.
