Video is my least-favorite medium, too. As I've said elsewhere, "video is slow, it's linear, it doesn't allow random access, it's not searchable, it requires excessive concentration, and it is very low in information density." The poor production values of most amateur YouTube productions detracts even further from the effectiveness of videos.

Now how about those parents who insist that their kids learn gaming the RIGHT way, in chronological order, starting with Atari and one button?
