      The roadmap for the semi-industry is 5nm by 2023.

       

      Right now there are 10nm SoCs ramping up. I think they're ARM based.

       

      And IBM has demonstrated 7nm.

      Nvidia is already making a 21-billion transistor chip on 12nm..

       

      Personally I can't imagine anyone going smaller 2nm without changing the laws of physics.

       

      Then again, as a kid, I couldn't imagine a storage device capable of holding millions of disks and carts.
