I visited the local GameStop today and noticed like many others already have pointed out, that at least 50% of the store consists of non-games such as merchandise and collectables, backpacks etc. One wall with the "top" games, some loot crates in the middle of the floor with second hand stuff which is what all the customers were browsing through. Since I don't own anything more modern than a PSP, I had no reason to stay inside for more than the 20 seconds it took me to have an overview of the store.
