  1. Audi E-Tron interior appointments are very nice. No GAUDY oversize touchescreen dominating everything.

Sounds nice.  My family once had an Audi though,...So I'd never buy one...Not just a saying, it literally spent more time in the shop than on the road.   I'd like to think they build them better now,  but then again I've seen guys on YouTube fixing an R8 (Their 6 figure SuperCar) and casually remarking that the first run can have frame damage due to their design.  And Audi quietly added parts to reinforce the frame to the parts catalog...Never issuing a recall, nor telling dealers to fix their flagship car...

Stats from 2015 on number of cars per 100 (model years 2007-2013) that suffer most machine damage according to a major insurance company over here:

      1. Land Rover/Range Rover 3.8/100

      2. Porsche 3.7/100

      3. Mini 3.0/100

      4. Seat 2.8/100

      5. BMW 2.5/100

      6. Skoda 2.1/100

      7. Volkswagen 2.1/100

      8. Opel/Vauxhall 1.9/100

      9. Chevrolet 1.8/100

      10. Peugeot 1.7/100

      11. Audi 1.7/100

      ...

      23. Mazda 0.7/100

      24. Mitsubishi 0.6/100

      25. Suzuki 0.5/100

      26. Toyota 0.5/100

      27. Lexus 0.5/100

      28. Honda 0.5/100

      29. Hyundai 0.4/100

      30. Kia 0.3/100

Audi stands out somewhat on electronic faults (though Porsche is far more notorious for those!), and excessive oil consumption on the 2.0 liter engines. However Audi has absolutely spotless braking systems, something it shares with Chrysler, Fiat, Hyundai, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Porsche, Saab, Seat and Mini. In comparison, the parking brake on the Land Rover/Range Rover fails a lot, and so does the ABS unit on the budget brand Dacia (possibly before Renault had invested in them).

      Interesting Carlsson,

Then again shouldn't Renault be higher up on the list?   (Maybe they're also better now haha), ..And you're telling me BMWs and Chevies fail more than Audis?   Not over here haha...

One thing I notice though (around here), is that you see very few Audis on the road compared to other marques, except for newer ones, because the old ones have all failed; I assume...

I'm a Chrysler, Dodge, and Plymouth man myself (Even if Plymouth is no more...And Dodge Trucks over here are now called Rams...)
