If you're talking about arcade cabs from the golden age I disagree. Universal cabinets were a work of art. I even find find the plain wood grain cabinets attractive.

Ha! Surprisingly (or not) it's the later games that take up like 2x 3x or 6x the floorspace of a single classic cab. That LED Space Invaders monstrosity consumes half-a 2-car garage! And those are the ones I really dislike.
