Could it be that you found out that they took the worst thing about the original Intellivision "the controllers" and used basically the same design?? 

Maybe it's just reading too much about it and getting burned out on rehashing the same little tidbits, well before actually being able to play anything.  I've kept away from the Amico threads.  I check out the new trailers when they're released, but I mostly avoid the chatter.  I'm still interested, mostly for the new D&D game, but hard to justify $200 for one game.  We'll see.  I really want to play it before buying.

I've gotten used to this with Paradox Development Studio Games, I used to really enjoy HoI2/EU3 back in the day, but I found the "build up" to the new games far too long - the CK3 situation is just as bad, I know I'll read all the stuff, really feel for it, but then as it comes out - it'll feel like I've already "played it" from all the information that is out.

In theory, I think I would enjoy Amico, but I worry that long term I probably wouldn't dedicate much time for it. Great for entertaining Casuals I imagine, but none of my life actually revolves around a situation where I'd have casuals to entertain.
