Updating emulators is like taking a vintage machine into the shop. Always comes out a little better. MAME is gaining printer support. AppleWin has new RGB card refinements and better video timing. Stella has more palette adjustments and ARM speedups. Tip of the hat for the devs!

  @Zoyous: two examples off the top of my head: machines with integrated printers (e.g., the Epson HX-20) can now be more accurately emulated; arcade machines that dispensed medals, tickets, or other printed materials (think digital photo booths) will also have full hardware support.
  
  That's not even getting into what it means for home computer emulation, such as with the Coleco Adam.
