Should I swipe it at the last 2 seconds? Thing is there's bunch of mod wires and not everything's original. http://www.ebay.com/itm/282050295252

So long suckers! GoogleGlass is no more. Not that it ever was. Never early adopt tech things.

at 18 responses I figured I'd make a thread already.

Ever notice how when a "regular" forum member necroposts they get shamed. But when someone of "fame" necroposts nothing is said..?

Do all "high-end" collectors behave like the ones on expo in the "Extra Terrestrials Game FOUND! (5th copy)" thread?

Atari VCS and Atari SA are unstoppable. Not the community, not the taco thread, can stop it. The pre-orders keep rolling in!

Backwards time travel remains impossible because the 3-body problem remains impossible even with smaller-than-Planck resolutions in calculations.

I realize the statement "before" the Big Bang may or may not be meaningless depending on if time started with the big bang or not. Better to just ask whether the void is fundamental to a theoretical non-space time matrix or non-space matrix. I call it a matrix because its nature is incomprehensible except mathematically. Thought I would avoid you having to explain "there may not be a 'before' the big bang" business, which I know about, but still fall into the trap sometimes. I read about a theory in Discover or Sci Am once about the big bang resulting from two other universes bouncing off each other and who knows what the speed limit is in that scenario. It's interesting to think about if we may be on a collision course with another universe and how quickly that would affect us in our little corner of it.

ipad is ridiculous.. It doesn't allow you to transfer files to and from the PC without spending more money.

Yeh that chick-fil-a thing is weird setup alright. Some fans of the chain keep trying to get me to go there with a religious-like fervor. Red flag man!

(Just a current event, mind you)
After *something*, which I believe was Chik Fil A oriented, a group of weirdos around here set up signs about heritage, values, and family, and had giant "Honk if you love God" signs and would try to get people to honk as they drove by etc., Meanwhile, nearer the Capitol, a bigger group (of all white people, just for the record) set up a Black Lives Matter group with IMO a much better message...Trying to actually affect social change, not just ram a "message" down people's throats...

A cool thing coming from FPGA is that people are finally beginning to accept 1080p and LCD as the new gaming standard. The complaints about LCD not replicating the old analog CRT "effects" and special artifacting tricks are beginning to die off. The muss and fuss of connecting analog consoles to digital sets is subsiding. FINALLY!! Matrix addressed displays are superior all-around.

It was great to have experienced the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation of consoles - VCS, Intellivision, ColecoVision - when they first came out. Kinda wish that magic was still here today.

@GoldLeader I'm not sure what you mean by making a game without having to program it. You mean something that could interpret like a plain text description of a game or something? Personally I have been enjoying learning GML (the scripting language in GameMaker Studio 2). Of course it's not as optimized as a low-level language but PCs are so powerful nowadays. I'm coming at it from the background of an artist who thought coding was just always going to be impossible. It's really cool, though, and I get that feeling of 'this is magic.' Declaring variables out of thin air and they instantly do what I want. (well... after I mess up several times and then finally figure out how to really do what I want!)

^Well, I'm probably just a young man yelling at a cloud for now (Ignore me)...Lessee, Mario Maker seems fun. It's for a Console. Let's say I did want to play a video game with a mouse /keyboard, (Oh God No! Why would I want that?), let's say I love sitting 15 inches away from a screen, don't care about controls, and want to interact with people online while I'm playing....OK I want a full NONE of those things, but for the sake of argument, IF my PC had some designation (Say it was called a PC7) then I'd assume Any Cart/Disc/Download that said PC7 would work on it...Hold Up. Then it would be a Console! Did that make sense? Actually playing a computer game now is nothing like that, Nothing convenient, nor simple, nor easy...But for what us old timers used to call "programs", (even those of us who used to program (code, if you will) Including myself (But I haven't done it in years), Is there any Easy way to make a game? I haven't heard of any...There is RPG Maker (for a Console) and Mario Maker...Anyhow if a "Game Maker" program was available so I could make an Atari Game, using the power of a computer, That would be Awesome! (Also, a decent recording studio program would rock too, but everything used to be too complicated (That one has probably changed, a bit out of the loop really)...
(So it was a twofold complaint, Programs don't exist that I want to exist, and playing games on modern computers suck IMHO)

My gut was angry all damned night. Rumbling. And my farts are wet. When they evaporate they smell like the Hibachi grill buffet I had 2x yesterday. So I had some McDonalds and 1/3rd cup of Cayenne Pepper to flush the stuff out. Dear Lord! It’s like The Battle of Blowaloada!

I'm bidding THIRTY THREE MILLION DOLLARS and a half-eaten tuna salad sandwich, but only at the very last possible moment so that I can snipe the entire collection from Mikebloke.
Once that happens, I shall release a video in which I rub the collection all over my body whilst cackling maniacally and twirling the ends of my nefarious-looking moustache*.
* Video release may be delayed while I grow the nefarious-looking moustache. If I get bored and decide that I don't care, it may never happen. Also, I reserve the right to finish the tuna salad sandwich if I feel like it.

Gotta love the neighbor's kids. Parents begging and pleading with them to do basic chores while the spoiled brats they sit on social media and ignore them. And these are basic things like put your shoes away and hang up your backpack!
