I like concerts, but it's really hard to stand for 3 hours. Kills my back. That said, I still love live music.

Local ampitheatre has cover bands -- Beatles, Eagles, Chicago. They probably sound better than the original bands, since they're 30 years younger. Plus admission is only $8 and not a bad seat in the place. You can sit down and watch.

Maybe the Who or the Rolling Groans?

Oh and on the subject of basic materials, having bins full of misc. washers and screws really come in handy. Same with magnets to help pick up whatever you've dropped.

Love those ISA SB's. Fav is the SB awe64 gold, and works great alongside a GUS ACE and Roland SCC-1. There is a modern reengineered wavetable daughter board being produced... I think it's called the dreamwave, something like 50 bucks on eBay.

I once wired a daughterboard to my amiga, when I discovered they accepted midi signals.

I'm rather impressed at the ease of disassembly and potential repair. Everything is modular fits together nicely with no snappage or forcing.

It was the first thing I did before starting gaming, and the last thing I did after. Somehow, someway, procrastinating with that made the session longer it seemed.

Wow, they're sure sucking the fun out of those stores.

I've wondered why more e-tailers don't pick up vacant retail spaces on the cheap and expand their local distribution.

(Of course, it would be better if Toys-R-Us had survived and used the stores as their *own* distribution centers, but since they won't be using them anymore, it might as well be Amazon.)
