What would you like to know? I post more frequently over at JSII. I originally tried to discuss this here: http://www.atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=50365 and here: http://www.atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=51084. I cannot really vouch for myself as a seller (more of a buyer), but I have done several successfull deals with Mindfield, Curt, and CPUWIZ from this forum. I could keep this all for myself, but I don't really get into the NES and truthfully, I just don't have the space for it all. I would be glad to answer any questions about this or any other items I will be listing in the next few days.

*PICTURES* NES & SNES Test stations Found!
Moose replied to RIVER's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Well, I've got both of these systems right now, and thay are used to diagnose problems with everything hardware associated on both systems. The SNES test station is meant to be an add-on to the NES test station; plug the AV cables from SNES into NES and use the attached TV to identify hardware failures. I also have an NES test system with the bottom cut out that is used for testing all of the socketed chips you might find inside an NES. I got these from my brother-in-law, who bought out the Nintendo service center he used to work at, when they closed their doors. He has asked me to sell all of his stuff, so look for it on Bidiots! within the next few days/weeks. -
Well, I would keep the rare stuff, but I'm just not interested in it. I already have one of every Nintendo system up to the GCN, so no point in keeping dupes. Besides, I promised to try and sell it, so I might entertain offers at this point, but I think I will try to put it on ebay or Bidiots within the next few weeks. If anyone is looking for a specific Nintendo part, PM or e-mail me and I'll see what I can do.

My brother-in-law has asked me to sell a few things for him, and I need advice on how to handle this. To start, he has worked in the amusement business for about 30 years, starting with pinball machines, and later video games. The company he worked for closed its doors last year, and he decided to strike out on his own. His company was also the Authorized Nintendo Service Center locally, and when he left, he bought out all of their old Nintendo parts, equipment, etc. He was going to open his own Nintendo service center, but Nintendo won't allow it to be run out of his home, so he has decided to liquidate all of his Nintendo stock, ranging from NES to GameCube. I've been given the task of moving it out. So here is my question: How do I go about selling this? I know there is some pure gold here, including the NES Test Station with SNES add-on; test carts for the NES, GameBoy, SNES, N64, and GCN; NES Test System (bottom cut out for testing chips); and other things that are good. However, there are other things that probably won't be big movers such as ROM chips, empty cartridge cases, numerous small parts(buttons, springs, etc.), signs, repair manuals, the list just goes on... I thought about offering this all up for sale as one large lot, but the massive size of this lot would make shipping near impossible. I am aware of ebay's policy regarding betas, test items, and such, so I don't know about listing on there. Has anyone seen these types of items sell on ebay? Perhaps I should contact another Service Center to see if they might be interested. I just don't know right now. Any advice from classic game collectors out there?

Back in the early '90's Valiant comics released a line of comics based on the NES. Super Mario Bros., Legend of Zelda, Captain N and possibly others. -
I generally lurk here, but thought I might try to contribute...
