  3. That is a freakin joke!!!.. I own a Cuttle Cart.. and yes.. I LOOOOOOVE having roms available for use.. but.. This (Gunfight) is a new product... with an author that has busted his ass making it ( I have looked at the coding it takes to make one of these suckers..).. If the author acually wants an individual to buy the right of usage to his intellectual property.. more power to him!!

I personally have not played the game yet.. cause I havent found the floating cash to get one... so for now I miss out.. that is the way our wonderful econimic system works!!

    what a joke!!!!

  4. I admit.. I have no freakin clue what is the deal with the sandwich... but I think it is kinda funny.. but what do I know.. I get excited and jump up and down when the original atari jingle plays.. and yawn with that stupid green x-box noise/logo shows its face on my tv!!!!!!

minor tirade over... and from me and James.. thank you for your support.

  5. about 1 month before I was bit by the ATARI bug.. again.. I found some old carts in a thrift store (Was looking for 5.25 disks for my Atari 800) and picked up a cart that I had when I was young.. "wow.. Rubiks cube... huh.. I remember that.." and tossed the sucker back in the box.... it was never seen again... So not only did I once have the cart (until I opened all my carts up after getting my first little tools kit....dumb kid!).. I lose it again..

    Stupid little elf guy!

Thanks.. If anyone can remember these, please let me know..

  7. Has anyone had this problem or know of this problem.. oh.. contrary to the subject.. i would NEVER hurt my cuttle cart.. i love my cuttle cart.... oh.. where was I.. Ahh..

Using the cuttle cart and making these .bins to .wav's.. Thwocker only gives ma a black screen.. could this be due to it being a unfinished proto?? and.. is the Dbl Dragon that is on this site a NTSC? I made that a .wav and after it loads.. the screan does the vertical problem that PAL games have..

    Thanks.

  8. I just ordered an NES controller. Was VERY quick about getting back to me, and I suggested that the y- splitters for joysticks (so you can leave your joystick and paddles (or keypad/indy control) always plugged in. The response from that was very cool.

  10. Oh Damn.. I am gald I got my Cuttle Cart when I did.. I love the damn thing. The only problem I have.. is the cheap CD player I was using skips when te volume is too high.. thus.. making a bunch of the track not usable. So the PC is my "Hard Drive" for the 2600

  11. Well.. Unfortunatley, Steve Tucker e-mailed me and let it be known that a VxD driver that is needed.. is not in XP.. so the differant modes for windows will not have any effect on the APE95 running at all.

Right now.. the only way to run APE (With ME..2000..or XP).. is APE DOS.. and with XP, i have been told that you must boot up your system in a DOS boot disk.. and run APE from the DOS command lines

  12. I got this message from Steve Tucker as it pretains to running APE on WinXP..

"You will need to use a DOS boot disk from Windows ME in order to

run APE for DOS under Windows XP. Ape'98 will not work at all in XP,

    the

support for the VxD driver model was taken out in WinXP.

    Thanks

    Steve"

I will admit.. I don't know what that means with the boot disk... but... thought I would pass it on.
