    Oh.. that was me hitting my head against my desk... I am getting frustrated.. I have made no progress today.. GRRRRRRR.... I am still at the point where I am turning the map 90 degrees to see what else.. (from the turning/jar clue)... what am I missing?? hmmmm.

    ok.. DUH! moment... I have been looking back at the posts.. and the pages and pages of work so far on this and just put togather that I think the "hiroglyphs" are on the irght track.. you said that you turned the map 90 degrees???? in the braille clue.. the first two letters of turning are turned 90 degrees... and here I am thinking of all the other things it could mean... like the roses are red/voilets blue.. was referring to the colors that need to me eleminated to clearly see some of the other things in the map.....

     

    Ben..... I salute you again!!!!! now.. back to this mystic and the new words of wisdom...

    ok.. here is my reworking in progess on the braille clues.. if this helps or starts soemthing else.. ROCK!!!..

    the closet I can rework things (reworking it as part of the poem clue in the tree)..

     

    I will list what I have.. than extra letters..)

    "What harry Sees to do Raj North Hunt (ereuo)"

    "Does Harry Turn North To Show The Raj (ee)

    "Where Does Harry Jr Short Notate (o)"

    "Where Doesnt That Journey Start (hroho)"

     

    again.. please share if this does anything for people.. I am hitting that wall again..

    Being that this is the 20th Anv of Pitfall.. I decided to look at the instructs that are up to see if there was anything there (only because I have hit a wall and in the opening Pharagraph that has introduced us all to pitfall states :"But, being a great explorer, you wouldn't think of starting such a difficult journey without reading this manual first - very carefully.")

    Here is kinda a silly question??.. Has anyone used this current map on Pitfall! to see if there is anything that is on this map that is NOT in the game?? any inconsistancies.. like even when the map shows 3 holes to the bottom.. but the game has one?? just something i thought of..

    Ok.. maybe I am doing something wrong with the makewav .. Is the Dbl Dragon rom up here at atariage the PAL version and incorrectly listed as NTSC?(i just get the PAL looking screen rolling) or am I just a crack smoker that cant get the sucker to behave..

    it brings my grand total of games up to..72 (and 2 dbls).. but it isnt the size (so she says...)that counts.. lol

     

    I am not sure what is next. this quest started off of remembering when I was 7.. looking at all the games in the catalogs and being in awe of the amount of them (back when beserk came out new and was.. what.. $40-$50???)... so I will scan my childhood some more and see what it says.. (though my childhood never said get a cuttle cart.. glad I didnt listen to it then..)

     

    Mostly I am gonna work on my 130xe system and try and hunt for more original equpment for my monster system (i love my 8-bit)..

    Well.. I drew a map with the boxes on the upper left/top sides... thinking that since they are 8 across.. it could be a graphics map for the VCS (using something like edixghx)... but alas.. after putting them all into excel and fixing the colors for a clearer pic... nothing..
