  1. we might need a new topic though. I'd actually pay for a nice one built for me, btw... but if its only two resistors and some wire stripping I can actually manage.
  2. I want one of those... or something similar- can I have a pict of the boards and innards please?
  3. That makes it easier for me to read, thanks. All capital letter tend to run together when I read, increasing the chance that they switch.
  4. TyeDye, can you change the text setting in your browser to compensate? In the Menu there should be a text size setting, largest setting makes the letters ... 3 inches - then the microsoft magnifier expands even that. Good luck
  5. -that AND it would be hard to tell which way it up. *evil grin* I think it would be easier for me to use both buttons down the right hand side... You would 'need' a toggle switch with 3 positions (LRB, RRB, off) then you could 'tell' each button what to do, but this would also require.... oh... a microprocessor or the worlds least efficient wiring harness... ok so that really won't work... I think.... 0---------\ 1\2\3\ --------------{ (pin for left button) (pin for right button) switch position one closes button to left button pin switch position two opens the circurt (off) switch position three closes button to right button pin (then do that for all four buttons!! no thanks. )
  6. *suddenly has mental picture of a joystick with buttons at all four corners...*
  7. Low cost? Low cost will be when they finally create the mythical $100 laptop. $400 and up for a WalMart budget computer still isn't an impulse buy. but its cheaper then some of the consoles came out.
  8. Apollo- lack of glue at all
  9. I'd rather search there name and find all of the feedback for them, I mean autoboatracing was the other person that requested it because he was (is?) on my big list one or both of the two times I made a long list of what everyone had posted... the problem was there was no way on my list to tell if the person had one or hundreds of successful deals... I have traded many times, but usually its the same group of people over and over, it be nice to have a long list of feedback with the dates and all and the edit stamp if I goofed, or something more tangible then showing up in 7 people list.
  10. AL- no doesn't have to be split... Just start the Feedback Forum and post a sticky: "Search for a username first, one Topic per user." So lets say... i just did a transaction with 'you'... and I did... I'd post 'new Topic' Albert Hi AL: "I just did a great purchase from the AA store, however I need to know in the future what carts do not come with manuals." ----- Then the next person would search 'Albert' or 'Al' and find my post about you, they would reply to my post ... the most active traders would be constantly bumped.... a 'problem' or bad transaction can be edited later when the problem is fixed... So if Shawn Sr wanted to post about me. Topic: FireTiger I have done several trades with FT, they all went well. ----- The Feedback list will populate itself with active traders, inactive traders would 'fall off' the first page and only be found in a search... lets say 50 trades happen here everyday... (just a random #) that's 50-100 names that can be added when transactions are complete.
  11. It's not 'coping' I suggested it... I PMed the idea and why it would work, they actually took me up on it even though I'm not often over there. It was right after I compiled 'the list' back when it only had Good Traders' on it... then bad trader were added.. then people with mostly positive trades and one complaint was added then I gave up. People that has possible 100's of good trades wanted their names to be highlighted on my list... so for awhile I hyper linked supper traders to thier feedback name, Example FLACK's name as a hyperlink to his feedback thread and was in bold on my list. I did that for awhile then gave up on that too as the feedback thread setup was finally working.
  12. OH, great guy to work with, all questions answered and kept me updated and packed wonderfully.
  13. could be- what mod is the 7800 PCB? maybe the mod bypassed something... who did the mod? What 7800 games work on the 7800?
  14. Mimo- I have a 7800 that only plays 2600's LMK what you offer and do you want the guts too?
  15. Take it out and put it back in, sounds like it didn't seat correctly... I know my older sean kelly mulitcart is super sensitive, but my CC2 is usully ok on the first go. Good Luck
  16. Received yesterday, great thanks!
  17. The Froggo games are supper rare but some people love them others hate them. This is an Atari forum - most of us like Atari best
  18. No, you can't. there are 10 or more 2600/7800 games taht go for more than that all by themselves. that price is high for a CC2, but considering they were $200 originally, and Chad sold them pretty much at cost, and they are now out of stock and not making any more, that price is not so ridiculous. As I said before it is a pirating device. You are quoting that you cant buy certain games for the 2600/7800 because there too expensive. So you get this and play a game you dont own. Am I saying something wrong? You are basically quoting that you can pirate games you dont own with this. I have nothing against it, I do the same. But 500 dollars is stupid. 200 dollars ok. I bought a megacart from Tototek.com that allows me to load genesis cartridges that are less then 24 megabit from my sega cd and it is less than 100 dollars. Better deal! You can buy every 7800 game out there for alot less. Plus get some of the good 2600 games. Most of the 2600 games are terrible so who cares if you have them all. Its just not worth 500 dollars! Its an amazing device... you can use it to help troubleshoot and beta test new homebrews. Besides I know there are 2 7800 games that would eat up more then half of that $500, not to mention all the other simi-rare games that go for 20-50 each... you are wrong about what you have said. counting label variations there are 78 7800 carts, not counting the ones I have that are one of a kind made specifly for some reason or another... there is NO WAY $500 is enough.
  19. IF I cand find it even... I'll let you know but I think a/the chip popped off
  20. I'd vouch for Shawn Sr. I've done... oh.... what 500 some dollars of trades and deals with him?
  21. scan them and compile the information and post in the appropriate forum. Example: New Topic : 2600 Forum Combat label variation 'I have found a new combat label variation that is not listed: it has alternating capital and lowercase letters like some kind of April Fool's joke' (attach the scan) Hope this helps.
