Same problem: That (wall wart) didn't work for me, I'm using stock 7800 adapter and switched from one 7800 to another and still can only play 2600 games on unit two.

NO, for this to work you would have to mod the 7800's cart sleeve. Not really, you have mentioned the big two. Now the CC2 would solve all of those problems.

There are pulgins that do an excellent job of remembering what you had open before, I use one of them.... Let me look... ummm.... Session Manager AND I am too lazy to link to it.

The Goat Store used to sell an arcade-quality joystick made by an Atari Age member. I don't remember his name, but he made some kick-ass controllers for nearly every classic system. The 7800 was one of them. They weighed a ton, too. Solid steel construction, cherry switches, the whole works. IIRC, his price was incredibly reasonable. *drool*

I really want someone to build me a 2 player 2 button arcade box that can plug into the 7800 or 2600 with the standard chords...I'd buy the parts and pay for labor and shipping!

That Blasteroids one is creepy looking! Pri- I find that I have misremembered or combined two goames in the past. now that my collection is filled out I don't do that any more.

I think I have the AGP ATI Radeon x1950 pro, PM with offer if you want me to dig it out. It would play Black and White 2 and Oblivion but I'd have to dbl-check.
