  1. How can I convert a "Sega light phaser" to an atari lightgun?
  2. I think that the people who care if the paint is there can do it themselves, maybe if you can figure out a way to do this offer the paint restoration as an extra for a BIN unless they request you not doing it.
  3. One day on pluto would be another story tho-
  4. you really didn't find a channel selcet on the console? On bottom of the console on the left hand side of a light six switch, deep inside the unit accesable from outside. (Atari VCS - CX2600 ) and on the top right in the back on a "atari 2600" black four switch, tiny little switch. (Atari 2600) I didn't find on on the Sears Tele-games or Atari heavy sixers. (Atari VCS - CX2600 Sunnyvale Edition, or Sears Video Arcade Rev. A) http://www.atariage.com/2600/archives/consoles.html When mine was having the trouble you are talking about the channel switch helped.
  5. The new color scheme dosen't make me cringe.....
  6. HE/she may be wading through all the other questions to him/her.
  7. ...................................................................................................................................................... I should really get my brains checked ...................................................................................................................................................... Anyone else?
  8. yeah well, at least I find atari stuff! Neat stuff to yeah! I'm rubber and you're glue! cart... so I can't spell..... (thank-goodness for preview, I had a "fin(g)" up there)
  9. Pac-colors, that's actually nice looking.
  10. Absorbs new information... *puts a sponge on a stack of books then applies sponge to head* .... didn't work
  11. solarnaomi, there is no need to "yell" the question is posted because the code, and diffrent people's preception of the game on the 2600 are not in agreement THe code is that they are diffrent colors Most *females* (including me, 7 I have checked all 7 see diffrent shades when not overlapped) -> see the colors (I didn't check the color-blind aunt though-> green-yellow color blind or something) Most *males* (5 of the 7 I've checked the one that could see the color is one of them is not adult physically (he's 10)) -> do NOT see the diffrent shades It has to do with how preceptive a person is, how well there eyes and brain work and wow they are wired to preceive the world.
  12. Ever wonder why games work the second day after you have them but not always te first? (maybe the FL heat *shrug*)
  13. Welcome verres, Have you tried other carts on the RCA tv? Have you made sure everything is hooked up correctly? (I once hooked up the manual Radio SHack switch backwards...!) Is the manual switch FULLY switched to game? Have you run the Tv's auto-tunner with the atari on and a cart in? Is it a 2600 that has a "channel switch" hidden on it somewhere? (You'll need a screwdriver to slide the switch to the other position.) ....(that's all for now)... Good Luck
  14. Ah thanks, too bad I didn't PM a peliminary intrest.
  15. Oh and what other hardware would it require besides a working 2600 and all of the 2600 stuff (ac adaptor, RF adaptor, and controllers)
  16. WHat's the diffrence in a modded and unmodded supercharger?
  17. My Raido Shack switch dosent have all the extra stuff on it and I just got it it must be a 15-1269 ??? it dosent have the extra stuff on the "game" side just the RF female jack, it came with a resistor that I'm missing for the 300 ohm input (looked like a 100 ohm resistor, what gives). Works fine if placed 'just right' and never jostled.
  18. What about two player on the levels where the cars change speeds? WHat's with the player who has the cars on there side of the screen (see fith (I think) game first player) have such a harder time?
  19. pritty boxes... was this from that offer of all the supercharger 1-10 games?
  20. Adonick Welcome, its olny usualy like that (above) in the Politics and Religion forum. IF you scroll down in the index you will see the forum http://www.atariage.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=17 "Classic Gaming General" @ the other two... Whoa, guys tone it down please or take it PM. Kepone, if you don't scroll all the way down you might miss that forum and its discription. Devil's Ad. , that's not what your joined date indicates, maybe if you PM Albert he can fix your date joined or something...
  21. Yep, cuz then we don't have to guess about offering too low or too high. Too low - might insult the person (you think my games are only worth 40 cents apeice?) Too high - hehe I'd would have let it go for half that! and anyway I coulda sent a counter offer If I thougt it was too high.
  22. Same here, I have a lot of high ririty things and not so meny of the low rarity things...guess everyone is using them as coasters.
  23. Ever wonder how if you get a game lot with ... 23 unique titles 4-6 of them are diffrent labels of combat and/or beserk? I've wondered... Why I've never come across a non-working (first boot) combat cart... Why in a lot the games I don't have in invintory or duplicate already are the ones that are DOA or need lotsa of TLC... Why all mystery carts are very common (ones without any labels)... Why my 4 switch black "Atari 2600" plays Midnight Magic with the kids controler or keypad as well as the joysticks... Why all racing games (excluding 2 player's only like slot car/race) the player car is so supirior to the other cars... Why in racing games (example PPI or especially PPII (7800) ) when you are the lead car because you are sooo fast there are suddely other cars on the track that can't be lap cars... Why nobody at a flea market knows what an Atari cartride is without showing them... Why if two diffrent people ask for something at a flea market that its instently collectable... Why you can find the same rarity 2s over andd over and are still missing rarity 1s... Why some people think that charging $5 a cart is a steal to the customer...
  24. Unknown - They seem to have a battery compartment or something.... one works the other dosent and neighter top red button seem to push. This means I can take the bad one apart. ... (time elapse) ... nothing worth posting pictures of, the "battery compartment" under the compatablity sticker is closed fully. The bottom has three screws in it and lifts off of the too, there are four small internaml screws on the bottom of the actual board with some kinda red formerly-liqid now hardend adhesion mixture (glue) the screws are positioned so that the cord intrance int othe board is at 12:00 at the following clock faces to the nearest hour: 1:00, 5:00, 7:00, and 11:00. the wires from the cord are colored black, white, blue, brown, orande, and green connect from the board in that order left to right. There is a bundle of (2) red wires comming out of a hole in the middle of the board commecting to the back of the board (or comming out of the back...), presumabliy to allow the nub of the joystick to not damage anything on the board. I cant get past the red gule which was sparignly applied to the screws.
