Nice. I agree 100%. Also, I just find something awesome about playing old systems on the TVs they are meant for, especially when you power it up and you get that classic CRT white flash and fade in to picture on the screen. Retro! lol

I was wondering what other people's favorite type of tv is to play the Atari 2600 and other classic consoles of the day. Although I think it is cool to play on a HUGE plasma tv, my favorite is what I currently am using on my systems. I'm using an old 24" Panasonic CRT TV with dials. The picture works great and even has knobs to adjust the color/tint/sharpness/etc. To be honest I think there may be a slightly better picture on the old TVs with my systems. That may just be me, though. What do you prefer?

Which do you all prefer, the 4k Pacman hombrew from i think 2007 or the 1999 homebrew remake of Pacman? Like play-ability wise

I bought my first 7800 from atari2600.com. But last I checked, there wasn't much of anything for sale on the site. It used to be pretty decent.

Christmas 2010. Lol my mom was confused when I started asking for systems the same age as her. She was like I thought you'd want a PS3? Nope. Atari for life.

In your opinion, what are some of the best sites to buy games, consoles, and accessories for Atari? I'm talking 2600, 5200, 7800, all of them. And by best I mean in terms of price, condition, etc. Generally, I browse eBay daily looking for good deals, but I'm wondering if there are any dedicated sites that are fairly priced and sells everything Atari. Any suggestions?

Which model has the best picture/sound quality in your opinion? A 2600 jr, or, say, a 2600 Vader model? With and/or without av mods?

Loose copy of broken Pac-Man for VCS for $10,000,000 at flea market. I talked him down to 9.5 though, is that a good deal???

I see the VCS as the Godfather of all modern FP flying and shooting games. Just look at Space Shuttle. It's a raw, yet still fun flight simulator.

Star Ship is one of the few games I do not own yet, unfortunately. Will def have to look into buying it.

Yea, it seems Activision was just slightly ahead in game production quality (most of the time, there are MANY great non activision games for the VCS, of course)
