woops..forgot my point. They never even wrote me back after I told them, and I wrote them like four times about it. I almost bought a non-existent Super NES for 25 bucks.
-
Those people have been selling that stuff on Ioffer for like, a year or better. Getting Ioffer to do anything about it will be tough. I've got an Ioffer account, I turned in an underage kid without a credit card on there "selling" things left and right..but she actually didnt have anything, she was just posting pictures of it and requesting cash payments.

You can get a good working Mike Tyson rom at a place called Emuconnect.com, as for the Castlevania rom its the emulator thats the problem more than likely, not the rom. Out of all the NES emulators out there I've only found two that will run it, FCE Ultra and a Famicom emulator called Famtasia. Most emulators won't support the mappers on Castlevania 3.

Emuconnect *cough* dot *cough* com...excuse me....

Dreamcast definitely, espeacially when you can find stuff like this... http://www.ioffer.com/i/1600-Nintendo-NES-...-System-2432484

On the subject of Castlevania, I got a Mame Rom the other day called "Haunted Castle". Didn't think much about it, just another one for the collecection. I decided to give it a whirl and to my surprise it was Castlevania! Apparently it predated NES Castlevania and flopped in the arcades from what I've read about it. It seems pretty fun to me though, check it out if you haven't already.

I'd go with Mat Mania and Rampage..weird choices, but my two favorite arcade games nonetheless.
-
Hey Atari Invader..did the site I pointed you towards help at all? Every rom I've got from there has worked save for one master system rom (Safari Hunt). It's about the best site I've come across for roms. Anyways, I was just trying to help, I've spent countless hours trying to track down certain games I wanted so I thought I'd try to save you some time, even though I know it sucks that you can only get one rom at a time there.

My Recent Find: PlayChoice Bar Top Unit
Outlaw X replied to GrizzLee's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Wow, that bar top unit is really a nice find!!! Lee, if you get a chance could you measure and let me know the basic dimensions on that thing, just to get an idea? I've been wanting to build my son a Mame cabinet for a while now, but just don't have the room for it..I got to looking at the bar top unit and thinking how cool it would be to build a Mame unit like that. Thanks. -
Looking to expand my collection, which should I get?
Outlaw X replied to EricDeLee's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Really? Oh, well sorry then..I figured they went for more than that. N64 is the newest stuff I buy, but seeing that those things go so cheap I might check into them at the local Game Xchange. I've actually never paid any attention to them, lol. Just trying to be helpful..on a subject I obviously know nothing about.... -

Just came across this at ioffer.com, not really to up on what these are worth..but it seems like a good deal.... http://www.ioffer.com/i/Sega-Dreamcast-Sys...0-games-2525047 -
Sonic 1 is the best in my opinion, and right after that you should try to find Phantasy Star, trust me..it's a great SMS game!!
-
I've got Sonic 1 and 2 for the SMS, they are both great games. They tried to make the SMS version of Sonic 1 as close as possible too the Genesis version, the only difference is shorter levels and of course the graphics, but I'd say the graphics are as good if not the best I've ever seen on a SMS game. The two games only came out in europe if I'm not mistaken, so they are good collectibles for a SMS fan, I'd say go for it!!

Little Compartment On The Bottom Of The NES
Outlaw X replied to Tempest's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Oh man, this thread brings back memories..not only did I hide my..errr...recreational items in there, but also stuff for doing homemade tattoos, lol. When I was like 13 or 14 me and my friends would wrap sewing needles with thread until just a little bit was left, then we'd go buy india ink and do these little crosses, knives, skulls ect. on each other one dot at a time until they were done...god, they looked like crap..but we thought we were pretty cool I guess, lol. I'm sure glad my girlfriends a professional tattoo artist who's a genius at cover-up tats, otherwise I'd still have the words "KISS RULES" in crooked letters on my upper left arm, lol!! -
I think that just around the corner will be a change from Graphics 95%, Fun 5% games back to something simpler and actually fun to play again hitting the shelves. The video game industry has excluded it's once prime target, children. The only modern video game system I would buy for my five year old would be a Game Cube, everything else offers nothing for kids, or at least anything they should be playing...besides that, pepole between 30-40 enjoy all those old Atari and NES games too, not just because we grew up with them, but they are actually fun to play..and the controllers don't have 50 useless buttons that takes half a day to figure out!!! My brother-in-law is a manager at Wal-Mart, and he says right now that those little controllers with the games built in are the number 1 selling item in electronics, even over Ps2 or XBox!!! Nintendo and Atari, heck even Sega needs to look at this and realize that there is money to be made..heck, one of my girlfriends freinds came over the other day with her seven year old son, he played my NES for maybe five minutes and was begging his mom for one, he even sayed he'd trade his new PS2 he got for Christmas!!!! I say that if Nintendo put out a new NES, upgraded all the NES titles to 16 bit (like they did for Super Mario All-Stars) and offered all the SNES titles as well, plus new titles once it got a foothold..it would sell, remember..to kids it would all be new games to them!! It may hard to imagine anyones eyes lighting up over Super Mario Bros. 1 these days, but show it too a youngster sometime and watch the magic!!
