    Just like I said last time, If that is your stance, Id be willing to be you will end up with no next gen console. As all have already stated they are going wireless. ;)

     

    BTW, I agree with you. Id rather have a wireless controller anyday for my gaming. Much quicker and fail proof. :sad:

    It actually got decent reviews from some sources. Game mags even. Not to mention its a good idea.

    DDR here too. I get crap all the time from my Halo 2 clan because DDR is a LIVE aware game, and when Im playing DDR, everyone knows about it. The shame... :_(

     

    Id play against someone on LIVE, but Im not good at it. Reflexes and movement aren't what they used to be.

    I have 40+ hours into KOTOR, better than the last two movies. KOTOR 2 is good also. Great game, and you'll play it again if you feel like changing sides light or dark.

     

    THUG is a great game, and I play in bursts. Ive got about 20-30 hours in it. Beat it I think?? Wish it had LIVE. Haven't played THUG 2 yet, waiting for a price drop.

     

    Never played Morrowind, but most say it takes forever to finish.

    You're right and really I don't care about which is selling better, just clarifying is all.  I'll admit that a big part of me is rooting for the DS to be uber successful, as I think it's just plain cool and the more people playing it, the better in my eyes.  As for this supposed handheld "war" though I couldn't care less. 

    At this point there are enough of each machine out there that owners of either won't have to worry about discontinuation anytime soon, which is really all that should matter on a gamer level

    I don't think either will be discontinued, I just fear that the DS is going to be replaced and forgoten because of a true Gameboy replacement. Supporting three platforms is a noble idea, but not practicle. Again, though, who knows whats going to happen. Only a few weeks till E3 and then we'll know enough. Personally, Im holding off on the Nintendo front for the new gameboy. The DS may be great, but I prefer 3D gaming and smooth control of 3D gaming. Short sessions of Tony Hawk, Tiger Woods etc... are what I want.

    Good, point, but then again, you all are ignoring the rest of the world anyway. We do buy quite a few consoles here in the good old US. ;)

     

    Lets see the world wide numbers, and the PSP hasn't shipped in Europe yet has it???

    Who says you need the japaneese market to be succesful in the gaming industry....

     

    Anyways, on topic, the DS has been out quite a bit longer than the PSP. Didn't it ship around XMAS? We are talking 4+ months to 1 month... Pretty impressive on the PSP front Id say.

    Do tell, Im sure I agree, and I love the xbox. Gotta love it when they create a game without an ending. My money is on a Halo 2.5 for the launch of the XBOX 360.

    Either way, the XBOX 360 will be more Mac than PC... Can't decide if I like that or not. There have been plenty of leaks of the G5 Dev machines. Id like to get my hands on one and give the tools a go. I can't wait to play around with XNA a bit too.

    Then why are the development boxes mac boxes???? :roll: Its more mac than PC at this point. That much is a fact. G5s to be exact on the Dev boxes.

     

    Anyways, most agree that XBOX 360 is an awful name for it. Here's to hoping for a suprise rename at E3. Please MS rename it something else....

    We get the new GTA with custom sound tracks and longer draw distances amongst other improvements this summer. Not my cup of tea, but many love it alot.

     

    You may look into the Dead to Rights games, the new one ships before long and is supposed to be a huge improvement over the first which is a solid title itself. If you like Indiana jones, definately check out the Indy title on the xbox. 3rd person, and plays just like one of the movies. Tight controls. Sleeper hit for sure. The first buffy game is the same engine and also good. Both are very cheap now.

     

    At this point there are hundreds of games out there and contrary to what some might say, you should be able to find plenty of titles to keep you busy.

     

    If I were you, Id cruise the used games at one of the game stores. Many many high quality titles are now sub $20, and some are close. Many of the platinum titles are also high quality games too.

     

    The thing to remember about the XBOX, is its appeal is rather limited, but the games it has are HIGH quality and worth the price of admission.

     

    Forgot Ninja Gaiden, one of the best and hardest games of the current generation by far.

     

    Ill keep thinking and Ill post some more up. Great time to own an XBOX BTW...

     

    Conker is shipping soon also. Not my type of game, but many love it.

    I like it, but I've already decided I won't be getting one unless they get a Serious Sam or well.. that's it. That's all the Xbox is reduced to for me. Screw Halo. I'm also canceling my LIVE subscription! I don't even use it!

     

    Nice design, if it's real, but I just don't see myself getting one. Sadly.

     

    I already know the Revolution will have games I'll want. And the PS3 simply needs a Katamari Damacy 3 to make me bite. But what besides Halo does the Xbox as a whole have?

     

    I dunno. The less good games at launch, the more I save. I mean look at how fast I bought the PSP because of that damn Lumines! A simple addictive puzzle game and I'm out $290!

     

    Also, I don't like the "iMac" crack. It doesn't look a thing like an iMac, new or old design. Not one bit. It looks more like a bunch of higher end PC cases I've seen that tried to mimic the iMac's sense of differentness. But nothing like a real iMac at all. Not one bit. AT ALL.

     

    Also, I don't like memory cards on an Xbox. But if the attachable HD is real, I could forgive it... if I ever actually get one. Actually, I wish all consoles would just bite the bullet and include high capacity storage either built-in or included. Even if it's a freaking 32MB flash memory. The cards cost like $13 now! 8MB is so passé. Or passe.. or something.

    Its mac on the inside ;) Most think it looks like a silver dell pc. The shown memory card is 64Mb, and the shown HD was 40Gb in the picture. As for more than Halo, well if you can't see past that, I feel sorry for you. If you don't use live for more than Halo 2, I also feel sorry for you. Plenty of great titles other than Halo. Thats an old argument though and Im not going down that road.

    Halo 2 was shorter, and the easier levels were more geared to casuals, but Legendary in H2 was just as hard as H1.

     

    The big let down was the lack of an ending in H2... Ill leave it at that...
