  1. Once I start to get a few more games in my collection and it gets harder to find titles I need, I will start looking for manuals to go with them. Im not really concerned with boxes though. Im more interested in unique titles. Though Im starting to find that despite the relative simplicty of atari games, some are hard to pick up without a manual. Somehow online versions just aren't the same as the real thing.
  2. What about Panzer Dragoon Orta? Munche's Oddessy? Sudeki? Voodoo Vince? Jet Set Radio Future? Toe Jam and Earl 3? I could go on. The XBOX isn't only for realistic gaming and FPS. It does have the best two racers available. PGR2 and RSC2.
  3. Get the XBOX, then get LIVE and you won't miss the cube at all. Besides, you can get a cube for almost free if you decide you miss the 3 or 4 games worth owning a cube for. Not to mention the DVD playback, the custom sound tracks, LIVE, Dolby Digital surround and the fact that there are very few games on the CUBE that you can't get on the XBOX but there are far more games on the XBOX that aren't on the GC. Oh yeah, the next 6-9 months have some awsome XBOX exclusives. HALO 2, Doom 3, Half Life 2, Fable, Full Spectrum Warrior, Ninja Gaiden, BC, Star Wars Republic Commando, Rally Sport Challenge 2, etc... Did I mention HALO 2 will be online?
  4. Id say finding anything you don't have in the wild. Especially at a new location.
  5. Yeah, Id be interested in knowing where it is too.
  6. Second best coin op ever. The best would be Super Off Road. Or TMNT or asteroids or ....
  7. I spent 5 years in Searcy, and I only did a bit of collecting while there. Mostly studying and programming, but I concur, I found a good bit of stuff. Though most of my time was spent flyfishing.
  8. Thats the thing, I was willing to pay more than I offered. I don't see how they got in at the last second though because I was in the process of refreshing the page. Ive got BB too?
  9. How can I have an auction won in the last minute, and then still loose the auction?
  10. I almost forgot the opening level of MOH:Frontline. That is a must play in DD on the XBOX. WOW!! The shores of normandy.
  11. If they end up dead, Ill probably turn them into something like a lamp or some other "decorative" piece for the game room. Well the game room that I will have as soon as I find a house. But that is another story all together. At least the wife has already given me permission.
  12. Well I tried a q-tip and alcohol on all of them, and the eraser on one. No luck so far. Thanks for reminding me of the eraser though, Ill try it again. I thought about using an emory board as a last resort. I get color on the screen from one of them so there is hope.
  13. Yeah, one was "Guaranteed to work" when I bought it. It's a real shame he shipped them in a brown paper envelope rather than a padded mailer.
  14. Well I picked up another dead cart this weekend. Fire Fighter from Imagic. That makes for three in the last two weeks. Burgertime and Hunt and Score being the other two. Despite a very solid cleaning, they don't work. Any suggestions on what to do with them?
  15. My brother and I split the cost of the Genesis. Kiddy City had a deal for a discount for good grades so we took them up. That being said, my vote is for the Genesis. We liked the games on the genesis much more. That is until Castle Wolfenstein came out. WOW!!! Then it was back to PC for a while. But I digress.
  16. Twisted system is our favorite. Sumo a close second. I might mention that a sequel was confirmed not to long ago. Pretty sure its going to be LIVE compatable too.
  17. We had a guy locally who had over 500 at $3 a piece. That was a few years ago now. He had at least a conosle or two also. Now he is down to about 30 games and a few broken controllers. Pretty disapointing. But I still find at least a cart or two that I need so I can't complain to much. I will just have to spread my search area out.
  18. Yup, full dolby digital 5.1 for me. I wouldn't have it any other way. So many games make great use of it. Try HALO or Splinter Cell with the volume cranked sometime. It really makes it an experience. Add an extra large tv and you are set.
  19. 1) Off road 4 player edition 2) Terminator 2 player with the two light guns 3) Poleposition sit down 4) centipede 5) TMNT 4 player
  20. I got a sears PAC-Man that I thought was atari. Not really rare, but I didn't have that version so it was still rather nice.
  21. Is there a complete 2600 gamelist in excel format? Trying to sort out my slowly growing collection. Thanks
  22. I want a few of those, but don't get paid until monday. Ill look for them on ebay I guess.
