lol, im on the verge also of buying a six switch woodgrain for show purposes only. Shelf space is a huge problem at the moment to a point where i have to think twice about buying a console especially since i added a boxed megadive and boxed master system to my coolection ( dang those megadrive boxes are huge )

they were probably designd in mind with the sega megadrive, as it uses 6 bitton controllers, and the port plug is the same....

ull need a NTSC compatible TV. Most new TV's have both pal 50hz and ntsc 60hz modes. U will need to check...

make a ROMS directory in ure rooot stella x directory and then put all the roms there in .bin format....should work
