Hmmm.what year did this game came in? it seems as a later 80's title and the graphiccs are very imperssive. i couldnt figure out the controls on my emulator for this game so i wasnt able to play it properly.
It seems to me that its quite a rare game, so i will probably find it difficult to acquire over here in australia ( pal format)
Thats what emulators are for!

hmmm...dont think i ve played it yet......
i try my emulator version first, see how its like

hmmm. my current MAME collection is about 8 cd's and i have more than 2000 roms ( all the way up to mame 0.68)
I have found a good reliable place to get my necessary roms so that they are up to date. It will take me a couple of weeks to go sort the roms which i have and which i still need..fun fun
Does any one know of any compatibility isssues of older romsets with newer versions of mame? I do not wish to have to get ALL the roms again, only the ones that have been released since then.

If theres any collectors for atari or any other gaming systems from australia, maybe this would be a good place to exchange ideas.
Maybe we could start the topic off by sharing our console collections.
SO far i have accumulated:
1xatari darth vader, 1xatari Jr, 2x atari 7800, 1xatari LYNX
3xsega megadrive, 1XSMS, 2Xsega saturns, 1X SEGA dreamcast, and 1Xgamegear
also
1 NES, 2SNES, 1N64, Gmaeboy Pocket
1 Intellivision and 1 colecovision........
So far the atari's are my personal favourites.
I'm staying out of the retro computer side of things, as to the unreliable nature of tapes and disks.( can anyone enlightem me on this? )

Probably not the right page for this question, but it seems that all atari7800 stuff is kind off harder to come by on ebay, not only in australia but europe and US as well.

my N64 emulators run beautifully on my AMD 2600+
and i also have a REAL n64 to compare to. The emulated version is crisper and in what seems better resloution.
as for getting roms, only kazzaa so far i have found ( i have about 3cd's or about 70 roms but thats about all i can find).
I am both an emulation freak and a REAL console freak
i think that both are necessary, and they both complement each other.

im from australia and i scored one of these of ebay:
its boxed and come with the 32 in 1 cart and Asteroids built in + the sega style control pads ....and all instructions and warranty card.
all for AU$40
it seems to me by looking at abay pages from around the world that atari 7800 are scarce.
There were hardly any of them sold over here and games are hard to come by even on ebay in australia.

Hhaha, thats the funniest shit...
i may have to change that name after all then, i was wondering why some people thought i was gay on certain Battlefield servers ( non aussie ones )

Hi , im new to this forum and from australia.
Recently scored a copy of master builder, which i dont know whether its pal/ntsc as theres no description on the cart itself.( no original box either )
as its rated 8+ here, i know that this is for the NTSC version.
and since i havent seen many of these at all on ebay io was wondering if im onto something here.
I also have the atari 7800 32 in 1 cart which came as a pack in deal with a 7800 system including 2pad like controllers.( i have the 2600 version of the cart also lol)
AS its rated 6 here ( rare+ ) is this also a good find?
Thanks for any help....
Oh by the way i also scored the Tomcat F14 Fighter Simulator by absolute entertainment which also isnt unidentifiable as being either pal/ntsc

HAHA, this will be a funny one,
i never actually owned an atari when i was young but all my friends did
(i was a C16/later C64 boy) and i only got my fisrt atari last year!
But the first 3 games i remember playing that also REALLY stuck in my head( they were the first games i played on my emu also lol)
were
1) STAR raiders
2) Adventure
3) Snoopy and red baron
Unfortunately i own a copy of star raiders which i have not been able to play as i dont have a video touch pad( u can sort of play if u plug a sega megadrive controller into port 2 lol ).
Of the last games i played on atari would have been double dragon and rampage, which at the time, were and still are terrible.
