I need some advice. I can't get into details, but I have a friend who wants to die and has attempted several times to kill herself. No matter what I say, it seems like I can't change their mind. I'm pretty much the only person on Earth whose words have any significance to them right now, so does anybody have any advice to give me? Thanks.

  Agreed, get professional advice.
  
  Remember that you can't talk somebody out of an idea that they didn't talk themselves into. Suicidal thoughts are (often) depression or some other neurological issue talking, not the result of a rational decision-making process. She should know that you care about her as you bring a professional into the picture, but leave the healing to them.

  Here is some sound advise,Don't be asking for help in regards to something as serious as suicide on a video game forum. This just screams "I want attention". Your friend needs professional help. Not the musings of a teenager like yourself drawing at straws from a video game forum of men old enough to be your father and grandfather.
